Meat stewed in wine (Vinen kebap)

Ingredients

Meat 800 g
Bulb onions 2 pcs. large
Sunflower oil / Fat (optional) 1-2 tbsp. l
Wine 200 ml
Flour 1 tsp with a large slide
Red pepper 1 tsp or to taste
Tomatoes / tomato paste 2 pcs. large / 1 tbsp. l
Salt, pepper, jusai, garlic, dill, parsley, other favorite spices and herbs taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, fry in a thick-milled frying pan or in a cauldron for a few minutes (optionally in vegetable oil / fat) until golden brown, add finely chopped onion and simmer over low heat for about an hour. Add wine, stew without a lid for 5-7 minutes to evaporate alcohol. Grind tomatoes without skins with a blender (or dilute tomato paste in 0.75 cups of water), stir flour, seasonings, salt, herbs in them. Pour over the meat, stir and simmer covered over very low heat until the meat is cooked - not long at all.

Time for preparing:

1.5-2 hours

Cooking program:

Stove / multicooker / pressure cooker

Note

Recipe from SAY7 forums, thanks to author Oksana 74.

As for the name, she also wonders why the "kebap" is not ground meat. I left the author's name, although in theory this is an ordinary goulash, but only with wine.

I cooked with lean pork; can be made from beef, even better - veal, stews a little longer, but also delicious. The author suggests taking white or dry red wine; I think that any is suitable, I added ten-year-old homemade fortified wine!

Kebap is served with rice or mashed potatoes, the author says, but in our house they don't eat side dishes, so see for yourself.

Easy to prepare, very, very aromatic and satisfying dish.

TATbRHAIt's just a crime to add such wine and then evaporate the alcohol. I am reading your recipe and so I wanted wine. Do not think what, I'm just a nursing mom and I can't use it yet. The recipe in the bookmarks, as possible, I will definitely execute. Thank you

Lanochka007, it's so ffuu, fortified, well, three three-liter cans haven’t been drunk in 10 years !!! So I pour it into the meat, then into the jam. And alcohol evaporates absolutely; maybe you can have such meat. Although, of course, it is better not to take risks, so as not to harm the baby.

Lanochka007, Svetus, and we did not think anything bad about you. If we wish, we all do not mind a drink. There would be a good company, a delicious snack and an appropriate mood.
