Please tell me, in the instructions for the bread maker, yeast-R (B) is added in some recipes, and in some "Dry yeast". Interested in what is the difference in these types of yeast? In the first case, fresh (wet, live) yeast is meant, and in the second naturally dry? It's just that they baked bread ten times and somehow did not pay much attention to it, and those recipes in which there was yeast - R (B) got very excellent without any drawbacks. So we think now, maybe all the same you need to put fresh (lay down) or you can get by exclusively dry?

lahesis333You can put any yeast. R and B mean the amount of yeast for simple bread and the amount of yeast for “Fast” bread, when instead of the standard bread, for example, 4 hours, it is baked in two hours. In this case, more yeast is taken.

Well, I was aware of R and B yeast) here the emphasis is on the fact that in some recipes they write DRY yeast, and in others the yeast R or B. Why is this?

This is the same yeast, only a different amount is laid for regular (long bread) and fast (fast). You are better off using your normal schedule.

yes, thank you. I already understood that in recipes that involve regular and quick baking, they write "yeast R or B", and in those recipes where ONLY ordinary baked goods are written simply "dry yeast". But why not write everywhere "dry yeast" just in different dosages?

Good day! My husband gave me a bread maker. The question arose - is the yeast only dry? or raw, too? Tell me please.
