Potatoes baked with thyme and lemon

Ingredients

Medium sized potatoes 8-9 pieces
Lemon 1/2 piece
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Coarse sea salt taste
Ground black pepper, thyme taste

Cooking method

  • Peel and rinse potatoes. Cut as you like, into cubes, slices, thick circles.
  • Put the potatoes in a saucepan with cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water, shake the pot with potatoes well.
  • Grate the zest with half a lemon.
  • Put the potatoes in a baking dish, pour over with olive oil, sprinkle with lemon zest, sea salt, chopped thyme. I poured oil from confit lemons, so I have more than just thyme.
  • Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 15-30 minutes, depending on your oven. The potatoes should be golden brown, crusty and, of course, soft.
  • Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
  • Take out the baked potatoes, pour over the lemon juice, sprinkle with black pepper and serve.

Found this recipe the other day. It struck me so much that I did not even save it. As it alarmed me, pour lemon juice on potatoes. It is clear that it is ready, but still. However, the photos for this recipe were so beautiful and appetizing that I decided to cook, but do not pour the whole portion entirely, but try a little on a separate plate.
I didn't save the recipe, so I rummaged through the Internet and found several options. This is my combined method plus what I remember.
