Ingredients

Homemade stew
Rice 1 st
Onion
Carrot
Spice
Water 1.5 tbsp

Cooking method

  • I made this pilaf in a Panasonic multicooker with four buttons, but you can do it on the stove, as we did before.
  • In a frying pan (because my Panasonic fries poorly), fry a lot of onions and carrots.
  • Fold into a saucepan.
  • We spread the stew.
  • Put rice on top, salt, add spices, fill with water.
  • Steam mode
  • We close the lid and cook until the rice swells. Put in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Light stewed pilaf

Today I have summer cottage dishes from our family and with stew. Because I took out a Liter jar from the freezer and I am adding everything.

We didn't like rice as children. Absolutely. Yes, and it was sold here by weight and somehow tasteless, it turned out like a paste, mine is his, not mine. Well, it is clear that it was impossible to cook real pilaf from such rice.
And there was no skill.
And somehow at the dacha it was necessary to cook something urgently, and mommy decided to make something like porridge with meat, but either she poured water as it should, or bought some rice better, but it turned out almost like real pilaf. How delicious it was for us !!
Since then, Mom has made pilaf only with stew.
In any case, at home it was called pilaf, the main thing is that it is tasty and fast, and if we called this dish incorrectly, then this did not affect our appetite
