Note

Murmansk has always been a fish town. In the old days, all kinds of fish were on the shelves. In specialized stores one could buy live trout fish and perch. Naturally, fish was often in our family menu. But, like most children, I didn't like fish. What tricks my mother didn’t go to to feed me a valuable product. Indeed, if the child does not have allergies, fish is a source of the most valuable, easily digestible protein. But I didn't eat fish. The only thing to feed me was cod fillet. Previously, it was sold in boxes of 400 g, frozen. And there were exactly the backs. In the evening, the hostess had to defrost the file and quickly fry it. All! A wonderful dinner is ready. Delicate, juicy, without a single bone fillet could satisfy the most demanding gourmet. Then my mother had this recipe. Only, of course, not with capers. Mom loved to cut pickled cucumber into the mixture. And she took dried parsley.
And I fell in love with fish much later. When my husband started going to sea and sometimes bringing home chilled cod. The taste of chilled food is completely different from ice cream - even if it was frozen according to the rules and never thawed until the fish got into the hands of the cook. First, a completely different flavor during cooking. Secondly, the taste. Chilled cod is sweetish and juicy. That's when I realized what a fish is.
You, in the absence of chilled cod, can cook thawed fillets like this. Believe me, thanks to this cooking method, the taste will be wonderful.

Great! My cod is just thawing. And there is lemon confit butter. I'll go anoint. Thank you!!!
Bridge
gala10, try it, Checkmark. It's delicious.

Natashik! How I envy you! You eat real fish, fresh. You know her real taste. And we get something incomprehensible! Thanks for the recipe!
Bridge
ang-kay.. you do not envy. This can be done from frozen fish. And you don't have to take cod. Both pollock and pollock will do. And carp.

Great recipe. And the pitch. I saw the green one and did not immediately understand ... how I managed to bake the salad from it.
Like a fisherman to a fisherman !!! Hi!!! From fishermen of Magadan - Murmansk people !!! Fresh fish ....
Yes, girls, yes. There is nothing tastier than fresh herring and pollock ... Meat - it won't even bake ... Cod is rrrrfish. Cod liver is not at all like in jars ..
Flounder is so good that you can catch tons of it in the summer. Even from the pier. And capelin - uyok .... weed fish ... Seeds .. I do not like it because of the "noise and dust". Food is for pampering, and the kitchen is washed for the day ..
Smelt ... that is the Song of Songs.
I react quickly to your fish tricks .. Squid, they have eaten, Haltusyaku, instead of cod, they have to choke ...
Filehki ... already baked .. I have capers ... The rest - I will ... And there was no olive oil. Halibut is fat itself ...
The serve killed me. And I rushed to the freezer ...
Irriska1963
No ... there was no confit either ... I just took a lemon .. And I was eager to eat ... I didn't pickle for a long time ... as the author wrote. BUT!! In your portion, capers - the rest - do not ...
Now I wonder about confit ... What kind of beast?
TATbRHA
I confirm: it's incredibly delicious !! Especially from freshly caught cod. Oh, where are my 28 almost Murmansk years ... And my husband is a fisherman, and I happened to catch from the board myself.
gala10
And I have it already !!! Made in AFochka. Now we will try.

Irriska1963, look at my profile in recipes. I can't insert a link from my phone.
Irriska1963
Gobbled up and without confit ... relatives - they asked to bow ... Capers - I ate in one person .. Here ... I have not disposed of those capers for three years .. Solyanka - only to me, well, there was a natural bank - not to throw it away (toad ... expensive) - nor to load the enemies. Capers, it turns out, only I ... And today, I again ... True, it's very tasty ... I have them only in a hodgepodge .. and only myself ...
And now - yourself ... yourself ... and again ... you ...
gala10
Mmmm-yeah ... Tasty ... Just a little.
Thanks again, Natasha!

Bridge, Natasha, thanks for the recipe, very interested!
After I managed to taste freshly caught cod, the whole world opened up to me, we still remember. Perhaps you can replace haddock too?
Bridge
Olya, of course, you can. Haddock, it will be softer. Here are the norgi, they value haddock more.
Rada-dms
Bridge, and we practically only use haddock in the family. Until now, it has not been possible to find tender cod, especially when there is already something to compare. I will, and capers are available in all sizes and varieties.
lettohka ttt
And we don't have cod, neither fresh nor frozen for a long time, but we really want a real fish, oh, such a gorgeous recipe !!!! Thank you Natul, photo, and I really liked the recipe !!! Maybe drive to Murmansk for fish? :-) :-) :-) :-)
Bridge
lettohka ttt,, come to us for a fish!
Well, if it's straight-forward, then you can do the pollock like that. I am not very good at river, but I think carp is not bad in this form.
Bishka
Oh, and what are capers? And what can be replaced?
Bridge
And here I am, not even half a year has passed. Bishka, capers can be replaced with finely chopped pickled cucumbers or olives. In general, capers are sold in many supermarkets.
Arka
Thank you, Natasha, ate your cod today.
Only I always bake fish at max t under the grill for about 15 '.
Everyone loved the fish, even me, even though I'm not a cod fan. It turned out to be very juicy and piquant thanks to the capers.
