Long pear jam

Category: Blanks
Long pear jam

Ingredients

soft pears (overripe, broken) 3 kg.
sugar 1 kg.

Cooking method

  • This jam is an excellent way to dispose of overripe, sweet, but not juicy pears, which are not tasty to eat and it is a pity to throw them away.
  • Cut the pears into small pieces, add sugar for 12 hours. I do it in the evening - at night. In the morning I bring to a boil and leave until evening, then again to a boil, and so on every 12 hours. I roll it up in sterilized jars on the third evening, if they don't pull the pear before that. Pieces of pear almost do not fall apart, are saturated with sugar syrup and simply melt in your mouth.
  • Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for

5 jars of 0.5 liters.

Time for preparing:

3 days, 15 minutes

Note

A great way to save pears (I really don't like throwing away products) and save time and energy

Tina, sometimes you buy (I'm still wondering whether they are tasty from the seller), but they are no longer eaten. So I'll take it on board

Very often I come across "tasty" pears, and then it's a pity to throw it away and don't feel like eating.
