Plum Plum Pie

Ingredients

butter 125 g
sugar (+ for sprinkling plums) 150 g + 1-2 tbsp. l.
eggs 2 pcs
vanilla sugar 1 tsp
flour 200 g
baking powder 1 tsp
salt 1/4 tsp
plums 250-300 g
ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp
lemon zest 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • This cake is very simple - a light muffin batter plus plums. And cinnamon, which is very, very relevant here.
  • Whisk butter at room temperature with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Add lemon zest and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt, knead the dough. We transfer the dough into a greased form and level.
  • Cut the plums into halves and take out the seeds. We put plums on the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

  • We send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until a dry match, about 30 minutes.

Why am I writing all this ... Just to remember myself and to warn others that in a large form, a larger cake simply will not have time to bake at 180C - the top will be browned, but inside it will be still damp. Therefore, the temperature decreases and the time is added. Look.
