Ingredients

Pork skin 0.5KG
dry white beans 0.5KG
onions, carrots, tomatoes or pasta optional
salt, spices

Cooking method

  • Soak dry white beans for 8-10 hours.
  • Peel the pork skin, cut into slices, put into the bowl of the skrocooker and turn on the frying.
  • Add diced onions, grated carrots, you can add bell peppers.
  • Fry for a few minutes. Add tomatoes. Fry for a couple of minutes.
  • Pour 1.5-2 liters of water. Salt, add spices, beans, drain the water from the tempting first.
  • Close the lid.
  • Set the soup mode for 30 minutes.
  • sprinkle with herbs when serving.

I made beans for the first time in a pressure cooker, I read many recipes, but I never found the right cooking time. And it didn't work out what I wanted.
The soaked beans have already absorbed a lot of water, I poured another 2 liters of cold water, I was afraid that they would burn and set it for 40 minutes. Plus, the pressure was collected for exactly 20 minutes.
The result was a soup, with very strongly boiled beans, but something completely different was conceived. I had to drain the excess liquid.
Remember, for 0.5 kg of dry soaked beans, no more than 0.5 liters of water and a time of 25-30 minutes, no more, in soup mode.
It would be necessary to try to cook it in the stewing mode, Maybe then the beans will be stewed with skins, as it should.

But in principle, the recipe is correctly described, and my dish did not turn out as it usually does in a saucepan. And the soup is great.
