Spicy dried plums (Oursson dehydrator)

Ingredients

Plum 1 kg
Garlic 4-5 teeth
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Dried herbs (oregano, thyme) 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
olive or vegetable oil for pouring

Cooking method

  • These plums go well with cheese, can be added to salads, savory pastries or served with meat.
  • Wash the plums, cut them in half lengthwise, removing the pits.
  • Chop the garlic, mix with spices, sugar, salt.
  • Grease each plum half with the mixture and place in trays with mesh.
  • Dried for about 30 hours at a temperature of 45 degrees
  • Put the plums in a sterile jar, pour in olive oil and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 months.

Why sugar?
