Ingredients

Cucumbers 350gr
Dill 300gr
Salt 150gr
Horseradish 200gr

Cooking method

  • I found this recipe on the Internet and decided to try it this year, since you need to attach cucumbers somewhere. Grate the cucumbers on a coarse grater, pass the horseradish through a meat grinder and put them in sterilized jars. Keep refrigerated. To prepare okroshka, this dressing is added to the base and kept for 10 minutes with a small amount of kvass (do not salt), then the kvass is added to the desired density of the soup.

Olgushechka81, A very interesting idea, I just put a lot of cucumbers in okroshka, but here there is only 115g in a jar (like one small cucumber), but there is 70 horseradish and 50 salt (2 tablespoons). Olga, in order not to sob when twisting horseradish, you need to put a plastic bag on the meat grinder and tie it around. My mother used to cry too, until they came up with this trick with the bag.
