  • What is village food in my understanding? This is the kind of food that can be prepared quickly, which will be satisfying and, at the same time, not create heaviness in the stomach, because then it still has to work and it must be prepared from simple products available to any backyard. Zucchini, of course, until recently, well, a certain number of decades ago, did not belong to those plants that were grown in villages ... But ... everything flows, everything changes ... Once upon a time, my mother was the first to plant and raised eggplants in her garden, and now you won't surprise anyone with that.
  • So, to prepare this dish, as you probably already guessed, we need zucchini. Those varieties that have firm flesh or overgrown specimens of noble varieties are ideal.
  • Wash the selected applicants, clean and cut into thin slices. Choose the thickness of the cut to your liking. The way you fry potatoes.
  • Rustic zucchini
  • Finely chop the bacon and start frying it in a pan. As soon as it turns brown and releases fat, send it to the pan and chopped zucchini. And fry it all, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes. Depends on the size of the pan.
  • Once the zucchini has changed color evenly, add the finely chopped garlic and after a minute remove the pan from the heat. Salt, pepper, add herbs, stir and ... you can serve.
