Delicious tomatoes from Aunt Nadia

Ingredients

Tomatoes How many will enter
Water 10liters
Sugar 5 tbsp. (Glass 250 ml.)
Salt 1 glass.
Bay leaf 5 items.
Bell pepper
Bitter pepper
Peppercorns
Dill twigs or seeds
Currant leaves, cherries
Garlic
Vinegar 70%

Cooking method

  • Cooking the marinade: Add 5 glasses of sugar, 1 glass of salt and 5 lava leaves to 10 liters of water. Boil everything and set to cool.
  • We sterilize the jars. We wash the tomatoes and put them in clean jars along with the seasoning. Add seasoning from someone, what is available. I have this: Bulgarian pepper, garlic, dill, currant leaves, hot pepper and peppercorns.
  • Fill the tomatoes with cold marinade. Add 3 hours to each 3-liter jar. l. vinegar 70% and tighten with screw caps. Or just thick nylon caps.
  • We put the jars in a cool place or in the refrigerator. After a month you can stay.

This recipe has taken root in our family for a long time. But my aunt Nadia had the very first and delicious tomatoes. She even went to visit with a can of tomato. She did a lot of them.
