Cooking method

  • Dear members of the forum, I am glad to share with you an interesting way to decorate gingerbread cookies, cookies, cakes in a floral theme. The laboriousness of this method is more than compensated by the result - the flowers are expressive, lively, eye-catching.
  • First, you should decide on the topic - choose the picture you like. You can skip this stage if you know how to draw I liked these pansies
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • Now let's analyze the picture, determining in what order we will create its parts. Look, all the flowers and buds are located on top of the leaves, which means that you need to start with the leaves. The flower in the foreground covers the one in the center, and it, in turn, covers the upper one, which means that we will draw in this order: upper-central lower. The buds are located independently (except for one). As a result, the order of work will be as follows:
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing.
  • Consider further. We determine in what order we will create petals in each flower (painted in red) and individual leaves (black numbers). The principle is the same - the deepest objects will be drawn first.
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • Our gingerbread is already filled. I pre-applied the background with a wide art brush. You can do this with a sponge, airbrush, or not at all.
  • Now you need to copy the drawing onto the gingerbread. I draw flowers by hand (not necessarily "portrait" resemblance to the original), but you can copy the drawing in one of the ways from the theme https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=35010.0... It turned out like this:
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • We tint a portion of icing green, put it in a bag or cornet and start drawing from the deepest leaves. We select the thickness of the line in accordance with the size of the gingerbread and flowers. As a rule, I use the Ateko nozzle 00 or 0. We draw in zigzag movements, imitating the embroidery stitches, starting from the outer contour and gradually filling in the middle.

  • So, the deepest layer of leaves is finished. We begin to draw the leaves that lie on top (in the order that we defined earlier). The principle is the same, the stitches go slightly onto the leaf lying below.

  • When finished with the leaves, it turns out like this:

  • Now let's move on to drawing flowers. We will use icing in two shades: rich lilac and violet. Leave the two upper petals of each flower one color, the other three two color. We start in the same way with the farthest petals, hand movements are the same.
  • Here we painted the first layer of petals (a blurry speck - from my mistake, removed fresh icing. It's not scary, everything will be covered).
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • We draw the second one.
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • As a result, we have two solid petals ready. Let's draw two-color ones now.
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • The flowers are ready. I wanted to fill the space at the top left, and an unplanned bud appeared there
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • Not enough stalks and sepals - add. You can use the same zigzag movements or make the sepals look more voluminous by dropping out thick droplets.
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • In general, the drawing is ready, only the centers of the flowers are missing - let's add a few dots with yellow icing. But if we also take food paints and a brush, add shades, it will become livelier and more voluminous. This is my favorite stage and, as it turned out, the most difficult to describe. After all, the mechanical work is over and the time has come to awaken the artist in yourself, but how to describe creativity?
  • Imagine a living flower, how its veins are located and what color they are, add them. Imagine how the shadow of flowers falls on the leaves, add a darker shade of green in this place. Somewhere, perhaps, you will see glare from light - apply a shade there lighter.
  • My fantasy prompted me this solution.
  • Floristic motives - volumetric painting by icing
  • Now it remains to enclose our picture in a frame. At the last moment, I added some brush strokes to simulate grass.

  • Our gingerbread is ready! We admire, enjoy, show our relatives - I do just that

Note

I saw the idea of this technique at a master class, corrected it for myself, using techniques from my cream cakes, and just fell in love with the result. Many plans were born to improve their artistic abilities, participate in an exhibition, develop an author's course ... I hope this master class will delight and inspire you

I will definitely come closer to winter. Now I don't even bake gingerbread, and I won't find time for decoration at all.
Thank you, Tanyusha, again! And for the warm welcome, and for the beauty!

Tanya, take off my hat! What a wonderful MK! And everything is so clear and accessible to tell, smart girl! I will definitely try to pile something like that, of course, I am sure that I will not be limited to two hours. But the main thing is to start, and then the eyes are afraid, but the hands do. And I, too, like you, tell people who do not believe that they can do the same - it is very simple, the main thing is to understand what to do for what and that I, too, a year ago would never have believed that I could do what I can now.
And your works are simply gorgeous and looking at them, I involuntarily developed an inferiority complex, but having delved into your MK, I realized that you can never put an end to something without understanding. It’s not the gods who burn the pots, we’ll learn everything! Thank you very much for your work, and for the time spent, which usually we all do not have enough.I wish you a creative flight in the future, so that everything works out and pleases you, your relatives, clients, and of us, your friends and colleagues in the shop.

Burunduk, Tanya, thank you for such a detailed MK, it seemed to me that it was not so difficult and that I could also succeed
Pansies are beautiful!
As soon as the opportunity arises, I will definitely try to repeat it and show the result here!

Burunduk, I join all of the above, great work! But my question is, what density should the icing be? Well, we fill in with a filling - this is understandable, but we draw what, basic? Or a little more liquid?
Song
Burunduk, Tanya, great job! I admire your skill.
Burunduk
Thank you all very much! I am very, very glad that I liked the MK and turned out to be useful. It is so interesting what will happen to those who use it, I look forward to your pictures!
It really took a long time to make MK, mainly because of the photo. Now I doubly appreciate the work of those on whose MK studied and I will study
Py. sy. I also made a bunch of gingerbread, tomorrow I will lay out in Temko "decorate ..."
Olga_Z
Tatyana, thank you very much for MK I am one of those who so wanted to see it and find out how such masterpieces are made)))
And you can ask a question: do you need to add strokes with a brush already on dried petals or not yet dried? And if gel (I use AmeriColor), then they do not need to be diluted with something? Just drip on a saucer and paint?
Burunduk
I am glad that I liked MK. You can draw at any stage, and the dyes are used, either diluted or not, depending on the intensity of the shade you want to get.
Olga_Z
Tatyanabut diluted with water?
Olga_Z
I tried to dilute it with water. Happened.
Olka I
Thanks for mk!
Sabrina
Thanks for mk
Such beauty I am conquered: crazy: I will try: girl_in_dreams: well, I really wanted
Burunduk
Girls, I dilute the dyes with water, everything turns out well.
Burunduk
Sabrina, of course, you have to try! A little practice and you will succeed!
cham
