Tomato soup with broccoli and garlic arrows

Ingredients

Chicken breast 1 PC
Potatoes 4 things
Garlic arrows About 200 gr
Carrot 1 PC
Broccoli
Cilantro 1 bush)
Green onion
Salt
Ground black pepper
Tomato paste Small jar
Sunflower oil
Ground red hot pepper

Cooking method

  • Cut the chicken breast into cubes and cook. When boiling it is important to remove the protein foam and reduce the heat so that there are no "gurgles".
  • Cut the potatoes into cubes and add them to the broth after half an hour.
  • While the potatoes are boiling, cut the garlic arrows about 3 cm each (I already had them cut and frozen and I don't know how much I put them, about a glass or a little more). Fry for a few minutes in sunflower oil.
  • Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the arrows. Fry for a few more minutes and pour everything into the soup, cook until the potatoes are cooked.
  • Place separate water under the broccoli. Disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences and place in boiling salted water. Cook for exactly 7 minutes. Throw in a colander.
  • Chop the onion and cilantro. Add to soup.
  • Add tomato paste there. I don’t remember how many grams, a small can of iron. Then I'll see how much is written on it, add it.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. And cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add broccoli to bowls when serving.

Note

I suddenly composed such a soup. I really liked it. The result is a spicy, bright, interesting taste. I was afraid that my son would not like it because of the tomato paste and cilantro, but he liked the soup. But the husband said: "one tops")))
Try it and be sure to write your impressions) Bon appetit)

Abricosca
Lo_yve, Olga, why should broccoli be cooked separately?
Lo_yve
Abricosca, no matter how much I have experimented with cooking broccoli with soup, it somehow becomes soft, like cotton wool. Even if you cook it for only a couple of minutes, it doesn't matter, while the soup cools down, the cabbage will be digested. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that it is better to cook it separately and add to the soup when serving.
