Chocolate muffins with pears

Ingredients

Small pears 6
dark chocolate 50g
0.5 lemon juice
butter 125g
sugar 150g
eggs 2 pcs
cocoa powder 2 tbsp. l
flour 125 g
baking powder 0.5 tsp
strong coffee 1 tbsp. l
oil for lubricating molds

Cooking method

  • Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl, add sugar. Beat the flour mixture with butter, I rubbed the butter on a grater and mixed with a fork. Add lightly beaten eggs and cocoa powder, pour in coffee and stir.
  • Preheat the oven to 180C, grease 6 molds with oil and arrange the dough in the molds, the level of the dough should be 2 cm below the edge of the mold.
  • Peel the pears, preserving the stalk, cut off the base from the pears (preserving it) and remove the core with the seeds, divide the chocolate into 6 parts and put it in each pear, cover the chocolate with the base, sprinkle the pears with lemon juice and press into the dough.
  • Place in the oven for 30 minutes, remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
