Latte jelly

Ingredients

Strong coffee 150 ml
Milk 120 ml
Gelatin 4 + 4 g
Sugar 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Prepare 150 ml of coffee in a way convenient for you. Take coffee powder per 1 glass.
  • In cooled coffee, soak half of the gelatin, which then dissolve. Pour the mass into any container and refrigerate. When the jelly has solidified properly, chop it finely and pour into a latte glass.
  • Separately dissolve the second part of gelatin in milk, add sugar. Pour milk over the coffee jelly in a glass so as to cover it and put in the refrigerator.
  • In the meantime, beat the remaining milk with a cappuccinatore (or in another way) until a thick foam is obtained. Put the foam on the jelly in a glass and put it back in the refrigerator before use.

Note

You can add sugar to your coffee jelly, or divide between both mixtures. I don't drink coffee with sugar, so I sweetened the milk. I really liked this result. (I do not recommend removing sugar at all).

I don’t have any special tools for getting foam, but I didn’t manage to get strong enough foam with such a small amount of milk using improvised means, so after a night in the refrigerator it settled slightly.

Elena, I also drink coffee with no sugar cream. But here the sugar came in very organically - not sweetened, but added to the taste.
I was surprised myself.
