Apple jam with lemon

Ingredients

Apples 1kg processed
Sugar 1 kg
Lemon 1 PC. large

Cooking method

  • Peel the apples, remove the seed pods, cut into thin slices, cover with sugar. When it melts - boil, but not for long. Repeat, if possible, twice a day for 2-3 days.
  • Cut the lemon into 8 slices, remove the seeds, cut each slice (including the peel!) Across into thin segments. Boil for 3 minutes in 100 ml of water. This is necessary so that the peel does not become rough when cooking in sugar.
  • At the last cooking of apples, add boiled lemon along with water, boil, roll up.

The dish is designed for

2 x 720 ml
