Ingredients

ripe eggplants 1 kg
green onions 10-15 feathers
onion - turnip 1 large head
sugar 4-5 st. l.
rast. oil 10 tbsp. l.
soy sauce 8 Art. l.
vinegar 9% 8 Art. l.
salt 1 large pinch
garlic 6 large teeth
sesame optional
seasoning for Korean carrots 1 sachet
for lack of seasoning: ground coriander 0.5 tbsp. l.
for lack of seasoning: ground pepper - chili 1/3 tsp

Cooking method

  • 1) Cut the eggplants into plates approximately 1.5 cm thick. Boil them in steam, depending on the size of the eggplants, from 10 to 12 minutes. We take out on a dish until completely cooled. If the eggplants are small, it is sufficient to cut them in half.
  • 2) While the eggplants are boiling, cut the onions into feathers. Tear the green onion feathers into pieces 3-4 cm in size. We put this case in a deep bowl.
  • 3) Mix quite thoroughly in a separate cup:
  • sugar
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • soy sauce
  • crushed garlic
  • vinegar
  • seasoning or coriander and pepper - chili.
  • 4) Cut chilled eggplants into long strips about 0.7 mm thick. And we spread them to the onion.
  • 5) Fill the contents of the bowl with marinade and let it brew in the cold for at least 2 hours.
  • After this time, the contents of the bowl should be mixed carefully (so as not to break the strips of eggplant), but thoroughly. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the snack if you wish. This time I didn't sprinkle it: there were no volunteers.
  • You can start your meal.

The appetizer is prepared extremely quickly, because all the stages of preparation fit only during the operation of your double boiler, and in 20 minutes eggplant cooling.
I have been preparing this dish all winter from dacha eggplants, frozen since autumn. Happiness-ee-ee!
