Ingredients

Pitted olives 15 pcs.
Hard cheese 200 g
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp. l.
Walnuts 4 things.
Crab sticks 5 pieces.
Garlic 1 tooth
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Insert a quarter of a walnut into the hole of each olive

  • It is much tastier to use smoked cheese for this appetizer, which is not at all difficult for the happy owners of the Brand smokehouse, but you can also buy ready-made smoked sausage. It needs to be grated on a fine grater and mixed with mayonnaise and chopped garlic. The mixture should be thick enough to easily form a "coat" for olives, for which one teaspoon of cheese mass is taken, in which olives are "wrapped".

  • It remains to grate the crab sticks previously frozen for the convenience of this process and roll cheese balls in them. Place the resulting "corals" for a while in the refrigerator to secure the shape and serve. Bon Appetit!

Note

This recipe has been duplicated on many sites for many years, but with slightly different proportions - 300 g of cheese is indicated there. But I have been preparing it for a long time, and I have always had enough for such a size of balls as in the photo (with cherry plum), two hundred grams. If you like more cheese and larger balls, use more cheese.
