Sour cream with sourdough in oursson fermenter

Ingredients

cream 20% approx 1L
sour cream starter vivo 0.5gr

Cooking method

  • 1 bottle of starter culture is enough to ferment from 1 to 3 liters of cream.
  • Scald all the dishes with boiling water. Pour cream at room temp into a 1l glass jar. Pour boiled warm water into a bottle of sourdough for 3/4 and shake well, pour into the cream and mix well. Close the jar with a lid, place in the fermenter body, select the "fermentation" mode and set the time to 6-7 hours

Note

The sour cream is thick and not sour at all. When sour cream is retained, whey may separate.
