Carrot cake

Ingredients

white sugar 1 1/2 cups b
honey (can be replaced with sugar) 1/2
eggs 4
vegetable oil 1 1/2
finely grated carrots 3 cups (or 6 medium)
flour 2 1/2 cups
ground cinnamon 1 1/4 tsp
ground cloves 1/8 tsp
baking powder 1 1/4 tsp
baking soda 1 tsp
Raisins, nuts - optional

Cooking method

  • How to do
  • Beat eggs and sugar in a food processor. Pour in vegetable oil. Beat for another 20 seconds.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, spices, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
  • Transfer the carrots to a bowl. Add flour with spices and baking powder.
  • Mix thoroughly (you can, with clean hands so that there are no clumps of carrots sticking together)
  • Pour the beaten eggs into a bowl of carrots. Mix well.
  • Put parchment paper on the bottom of the mold, grease the edges of the mold with oil
  • Pour the prepared dough into the mold
  • Bake at 350 F (175 C) on medium oven rack for 35-40 minutes. (or until ready)
