Ingredients

sugar 1.5 cups
lemon 1 PC
fresh ginger 2 tbsp. spoons

Cooking method

    Beet marmaladeGrind the beets into small pieces. Transfer the beetroot mass to a stewpan with a thick bottom and sides. Add sugar and stir.
  • Beet marmaladeCut the lemon into large chunks without peeling. Remove pits. Place the lemon slices in a food processor along with the ginger. Grind into small pieces.
  • Beet marmaladeAdd the lemon-ginger mixture to the beetroot saucepan and stir. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often.

Tan, according to the recipe, it goes as a side dish for fried chicken, but I don't like the combination of sweet with meat. And with curd cheese it turned out very tasty. Fresh ginger gives just freshness, so bright in combination with lemon, I don't know, ground ginger will give the same bright taste and smell. And the smell seems to me definitely not.
