Hello everyone!

We cook rice porridge in a multicooker (Moulinex Cook4Me) almost every day. But, alas, not every day you can eat. O great porridge!
The recipe never changes and always remains roughly the same: 1 portion of rice, 2 portions of water, 3 portions of milk. The rice is washed, then everything is put in a multicooker for the night with a delayed start. A little salt and a spoonful of sugar. Rice, sugar and salt are always the same. Despite all the sacrifices, the porridge is not always favorable to its creators, and periodically rolls up (see photo).

Magic rice porridge in a slow cooker

The main variable ingredient is milk, but the problem is that it was not possible to calculate any one good milk, which always makes good porridge. That is, any milk can turn into pumpkin by morning. Therefore, I ask advice here, perhaps someone came across such a situation and how it was solved. I'm really tired of translating products! Could the multicooker work be the reason?

Yes, the multicooker is hardly to blame. Moreover, more often you get a good porridge. At first, I also had similar incidents. But, after I was advised to pour (especially when cooking on the timer), long-playing (pasteurized) milk into rice, well cooled in the refrigerator until the moment of use. And, also put very chilled butter in the cartoon. And, even better, if you always have a pack of butter in the freezer for these purposes, from which you will begin to cut pieces of butter into future porridge ... That, I am more than sure that the problems with your favorite porridge will disappear.

And the girls specially store milk in bags in the freezer, for laying in porridge on the timer - by morning the milk in the multicooker will defrost, but will not curl.

The starter adds 2 parts water and 3 milk to her recipe. I don't add so much water (ice). It's just that everyone has different tastes.

I cook in another MV, and I also put water on the timer.
