Ingredients

premium wheat flour 500 g
egg 6 pcs
refined sunflower oil 200 ml
sugar 250 g
kefir 300 ml
vanilla sugar 1 tbsp. l.
ground turmeric 0.5 tsp
raisins 100 g
baking powder 15 g

Cooking method

  • 1. Pour boiling water over the raisins.
  • 2. Beat eggs with sugar
  • 3. Add kefir
  • 4. Add oil
  • 5. Mix flour with baking powder, sift into a bowl with liquid ingredients
  • 6. Throw the raisins into a sieve / colander or simply drain and shake
  • 6. Add turmeric, vanilla sugar, raisins to the dough
  • Bake at 165 degrees for 45 minutes.

Time for preparing:

15 min preparation + 45 baked goods

Note

Moderately sweet / who likes sweeter - increase sugar by 50-70 grams /. Instead of raisins, you can use any filling - nuts, dried berries.

My dough is designed for 2 forms - large and small. I always bake in the oven on the "Convection" mode in two forms at the same time, take the small one out of the oven after 20 minutes, the large one continues to bake for another 25 minutes. Lily and Butterfly baked in Nordic ware. Can be replaced with any shape 10 cups (Chrysanthemum, Rose, Heart, etc.) + 3 cups (Baskets, Buttercup flowers, Zoo).

I made half the norm - the shape of hearts (Nordic) and in a silicone form cupcakes (6 pieces), additionally 2 more in Ikeevsky cupcakes. total: 14 pcs. from a half serving. It turned out great, and beautiful and tasty. The husband (who actually doesn't like cupcakes) said that he discreetly ate 6. Thanks for the recipe!

I baked this recipe in a hive. It didn't work out. When baking, the middle rose very much, cracked. When I shook it out of the molds, dough flowed from these cracks. Kept in the oven longer than indicated in the recipe. I cut off these tops, put them back in the molds, set them to bake again. Naturally, beauty did not work out after that.
Also baked in butterflies. In them, the middle also rose in a cone. True, they did not crack.
Tell me, what could be the reason?
Before that, it baked according to different recipes - there were no such mountains.

Rezlina, I have a slide in other recipes only where soda, and not baking powder. It may also depend on kefir / the number of kefir fungi / bacteria, the beginning / end of the shelf life /. Dough in butterflies no more than 1/3 of the shape, disperse it from the center to the corners.Convection / blowing in the oven is mandatory, it cuts the cooking time by almost half. In general, the dough is not very liquid, so that it flows out of the cracks? I don't even know what else to suggest? I repeat, I bake this recipe repeatedly, to be honest, I don't pay attention to either kefir or the brand of flour - everything always worked out
