Ingredients

wheat flour / grade 500 grams
warm milk 180 grams + 1 tsp
sugar 100g
butter (margarine) 100g
yolk 3 pieces
dry yeast 8 grams
salt 5 grams
carob (cocoa) 1 tbsp. the spoon
vanilla taste
poppy filling ready 150 grams
raisins 100g
candied fruits multicolored 100g
egg for lubrication

Cooking method

  • All products, except for poppy seeds, raisins, candied fruits and carob, put a bucket of a bread machine, according to the instructions. All products are at room temperature.
  • We knead the dough. The dough is soft, does not stick.
  • Separate one third of the dough. We put it back in the HP, add a teaspoon of milk and carob (cocoa).
  • We turn on the mixing program. We follow. When the dough has become the same color, turn off the HP and take it out.
  • We put on fermentation in different dishes in a warm place and cover with foil.
  • Fermentation until doubled. I have 90 minutes.

  • Festive braid Weave a braid. We put in a form covered with paper. We put on a proofer in a warm place, covered with foil until doubled. Approximately 70-90 minutes.

  • Lubricate with an egg with the addition of milk or water.
  • We put in the oven. Temperature 190 degrees.
  • After 10 minutes, lower the temperature to 170 degrees. if necessary, cover with foil.
  • We bake until dry skewers. My total baking time was 45 minutes.
  • We take out, cool on a wire rack, cut and enjoy.
