ElenaI also love baking meat pies, only I do 50% beef + 50% pork. For the rest, I make the dough like you and I don't add eggs. But mayonnaise yes! -2st. l. The dough rises faster with it, and becomes even more airy and the pies remain soft the next day. What kind of oven do you have if a baking sheet holds 6 pies? Your pies are just pretty! velli, the pies were prepared by the technologist of our company, but we tasted them. The pies are very tasty, the dough is light and the filling is juicy. The oven is standard in size, and the baking dish, in which the pies were baked, is 22x28 cm in size, so not many pieces fit. In this form, it is more convenient to make casseroles than baking pies.
I also add mayonnaise to the dough, but more often to shortbread dough. I love shortbread cookies with mayonnaise.
