The Fourneau Bread Oven measures 14.8 "long, 9.6" wide and 4.7 "high. The oven cover is 4.25" high.

Fourneau is made from hardened cast iron and will require the same maintenance as any cast iron cookware. However, since the Fourneau is primarily a bread baking machine, 90% of the time all you need to do is wipe off the base crumbs.

If you're using the Fourneau for pizza and it gets a little cheese or sauce on it, don't worry. Just clean it with water and a stiff brush and dry it completely.

Fourneau works great on a gas grill:

But keep in mind that it is still difficult to control the temperature of the coal.

Fourneau weighs about 13.61 kg. The hatch weighs about 2.04 kg, the cover weighs about 6.35 kg.

You can bake different shapes and sizes of bread in the Fourneau, but you will get the best results if your dough does not exceed 750 grams (about 3 cups of flour, 350 grams of water).

The type of bread you make will also affect the optimal size, as white flour will rise much more than other flours.

We have consistently gotten good results for white bread in the 500-700 gram range, and also got good results going up to 750 grams of whole grain bread.

The Fourneau Bread Oven is the perfect tool to create the most beautiful and most delicious breads at home.
