I got this one, this pressure cooker is very similar to the Moulinex CE502832 (CE 503132), but there are interesting differences: the heating is turned off in advance (but for some reason, the Start button, not the Heating, as written in the instructions), the steam valve is better made - the exit button steam can be pressed and blocked with a special lever, it will be locked in the pressed position and the valve will remain open, this is convenient, for example, for baking, otherwise they complain that the lid in such pressure cookers swings open on its own in this mode, since all the steam through the valve does not passes.
Instead of the Product Texture, there is a choice of pressure levels: Level 1 -100 '... Level 6 -115'.
The countdown in most modes begins immediately, and not after reaching the operating temperature, this is not always convenient, but in the Steam Cooker program, the countdown starts after warming up, since here you can set any pressure level and time in 1 minute increments, then I I cook a lot in this mode.
Good programs without pressure: Soup (if you choose the option without pressure), first the contents are brought to a boil and the lid is locked, and then it drops to about 98 'and you can open the lid and add whatever you need and stir. Braising (93 '), Milk porridge (94', counting immediately), Oatmeal (94 ', counting down after reaching temperature).
Convenient programs Pasta and Sausages / Dumplings: heats up the water, signals, open-put food-close, heats up again and only then starts the countdown.
Besides the Multicook, there is the 9-Step Multicook Plus.
I liked the pressure indication on the display, during dialing and during cooling, you can see when you can open the lid.

(On Stewing, it also first brings to a boil, on Milk porridge - it seems not)

If you set the mode with the maximum pressure, for example Plov (pressure level 6), does it hold this pressure? or does it mostly work at level 5?
Nadin1234
Well, I did the pilaf and put it just 6, there is how: it slowly reaches it, you can see it by the lines, then the ten is probably turned off and it cools down a bit, the pressure decreases a little accordingly, the ten turns on again and the pressure rises by one line.Well, these are all pressure cookers, these clicks are heard, it's just that not all show the real temperature or pressure.
Bes7vetrov
It just really bothered me that my ex Polaris 0505 did not keep the declared level. For example, on pilaf of 25 minutes (under pressure), she kept level 6 for about five minutes, the rest of the time was 4-5. All my questions on the parallel forum were answered that this is protection against overheating and the cartoon just bleeds off the excess. Why then write about pressure 6 if she does not hold it? And not only in the pilaf mode (it's just for example).
Nadin1234
Bes7vetrov, you are right, of course, but this is just a marketing ploy, that we are shown the current pressure, here in our Moulinex 502 (503) I chose, for example, the Bean mode, where 114 ', how do I know how long it will take to cook on this one , and when to go lower? You don’t know and don’t worry. Or the choice of textures, choose 6, it burns all the time, and this is an analogue of the pressure in this one.
IMHO, I don’t bother about the accuracy - level 6 is 115 ', 5-112', it is not important, protection against overheating is much more important for me, here the instructions say if above 115 'under pressure, the protection will work and it will turn off, I hope that so, somehow they strain the lids cracked from overheating of some.

Trying to insert a photo - display multi
nikbamby
I liked this cartoon. I want to take it, but I still doubt what all the same - this or Polaris 0520 d. I broke my whole head, from a heap of cartoons I came to the choice of one of these two. hostesses, tell me which one to choose? Otherwise, I can't wait to get this miracle, but I can't choose either. help out
Areanda
nikbamby, it seems to me that it is not entirely correct to compare this multicooker and Polaris 0520. Because Polaris 0520 does not have a "pressure cooker" mode
Areanda
Nadin1234, please tell me, is the cover removable in Polaris PPC 0705AD or not? How do you deal with cleaning it?
nikbamby
Oh damn right. From the models, there is already a mess in my head, so many interesting things. During the night, I climbed the forums again and still tend to this model, but my friend discourages taking because of the company, he himself works in repairs and they say Polaris is often brought for repairs. Can you tell me for comparison a similar model from another company, but with the same functionality.
Nadin1234
Areanda, the inner cover is removable (it is put on the pin in the center, it is removed in one motion.) It has a silicone ring on it, which must be removed and washed, and it is desirable to have a spare one.
Nadin1234
nikbamby, I am pleased with this shortcut, about the fact that Polaris is often brought in for repairs - this is because of the large sales volumes such an impression, IMHO Redmond also has a lot in services. I think it is more dangerous to take some little-known brand, no spare parts, no authorized service centers
Similar to this model Moulinex CE502832 (CE 503132), there are differences, I wrote above.
This Polaris pressure cooker has many multicooker programs: Stewing, Milk porridge ..., you can cook the soup with pressure or without pressure at all, if you do not have a separate multicooker, then a pressure cooker with advanced functionality is a good choice.

nikbamby
Nadin1234, thanks for the detailed answer. then the last question, where to find bowls for this multi? Or just order at service centers?
Nadin1234
nikbambysuitable for Redmond bowls: non-stick RB-A523, Daikin coating and RB-S520 steel.
nikbamby
oh how great, thanks!

Tell me, does this multivarker-pressure cooker have the ability to adjust the temperature in the range of 60-100 degrees, so that it can be used as a slow cooker, sous-vid ?? Spastbo for the answer
Nadin1234
Its temperature is regulated with a variable step: from 30 to 90 degrees - a step of 5 degrees, from 90 to 100 - in 2 *, from 100 to 118 - in a step of 3 *, from 118 to 120 - in 2 *, from 120 to 180 - at 10 o'clock*.
That is, it is not very suitable for sous vide, since the step is too large in the required range.
Byaka zakalyaka
Nadezhda thank you very much, I'll see some more pressure cookers
Kamillie
Nadin1234how do you like your assistant as time passes? Tell me, pliz, what do you like in the end, what do not? I am looking after her for a present for my mother.
Nadin1234
Kamillie, I am happy with it, one of my best pressure cookers, which means it stands constantly on the countertop and cannot be carried out of the room like others
I cook in non-native Redmond bowls, although the original is still new, I'm just used to them.
Kamillie
Nadin1234, thanks for responding! It's great when technology makes you happy.I already bought it, I hope it will also only delight, while we are testing and observing)) One misunderstanding has appeared so far, maybe you can help figure it out? When I set the pressure level to 6, then during the cooking process the indicator shows either a decrease or an increase in pressure, but it does not reach the 6th level for a long time, even at the 5th it does not linger, and so on several times. As a result, one can say that he cooks not at 6, but somewhere in the middle at level 4. What about you?
And share, if possible, which bowls are suitable for her, I want my mother to buy stainless steel and Teflon.
Irlarsen
Question. and does not slowly bleed off the steam when setting the 6th level?
Kamillie
Irlarsen, no, everything is dull, like in a tank)))
Nadin1234
Kamillie, about the pressure indication - this is a feature of this model, the pressure dashes correspond to the real temperature in the bowl: 100, 103, 106, 109, 112, 115 degrees. The countdown starts if there is at least one dash, i.e., as soon as the valve closes. This is logical, because the cooking process has already started; if the time did not count down until the selected pressure level was reached, half would have already been prepared.
When the selected temperature (pressure) is reached, the heating element turns off and the temperature drops slightly, the dash becomes smaller This is how all multicooker and pressure cooker behave, but usually the real temperature / pressure is not displayed so as not to confuse users
All heating elements multicooker have an error of 3-5 degrees, this is considered the norm. It also depends on the cooking time - if you set 85 * for 3 hours, it will have time to even out the temperature and will keep it more or less accurate. But at high pressure-cooking temperatures we do not cook for a long time, so the temperature does not have time to even out. And it can keep the maximum allowable temperature or the 6th pressure level for a short time in order to avoid overheating, so the heating element is switched off more often. But all this does not affect the quality of cooking, so do not bother
What models of bowls are suitable for our cartoon, I wrote on the previous page.
Kamillie
Nadin1234, as soon as you reassured me, our cartoon suddenly refused to gain pressure at all. It heats up, even comes to a boil, one square on the indicator starts blinking, and that's it, nothing further. And the most interesting thing is that steam does not come down either from the valve or from under the lid, it feels like it simply does not heat up. And a week has not passed since the day of purchase, no words. They took it to the store, promised to figure it out. So you have to wait 2 weeks. This is called made a gift to my mother (((.
Nadin1234
Kamillie, write how it will end. But if 2 weeks have not passed from the date of purchase, should not they be replaced immediately?
Kamillie
Nadin1234, as they should, and they do not refuse, but a multicooker is considered a technically difficult product, and the store cannot accept it without expertise. I also thought I would bring it and get another one in return, yeah, I was dreaming).
Erema
Hello girls, I'm going to buy one too, for a stock now in the store ... but I don't understand where I can get all these ratios of temperature and pressure time myself .... who knew how? I have my first cartoon planned ... I wanted another company, but we don't have them in the city,
Nadin1234
Erema, there are very detailed instructions for this model, temperatures are indicated in all modes, and set the default pressure first, slowly master
Erema
Thank you, I hope I can handle it ... I did it ... Tomorrow I will go, if the promotion is not over I will buy it. By the way, I am Nadine too, as I understand your name is Nadia ...

Erema
Of course, I was late with the promotion, overpaid well, but I bought it ...
Erema
Just a question, pilaf mode 50 minutes under pressure is cool, maybe 15 minutes will be enough?
Erema
Well, pilaf, in principle, was a success ... next time I will slightly change the recipe in time and water ..
Nadin1234
Erema, yes, I also set pilaf by default for the first time
30 minutes is enough, or even less.
Erema
Well, I put 20 and water 1: 1, now I will put at 30 and there is more water on the glass floor ... she coped with it with pilaf, the rice was crumbly
Erema
How do you stew potatoes with meat to make it faster and tastier? I'm thinking to hold half an hour on pilaf, and then to stew, ...
Nadin1234
Erema, if you cook with high pressure on Plov, in half an hour everything will be ready. I cook meat separately from potatoes (if not chicken), I prefer to simmer for a long time at a low rate.
Erema
Yes, I already understood, in half an hour the potatoes with pork in my mouth melted, the next time I will put it on for 20 minutes, and then it will languish for heating ... thanks for answering, it's just that I have it first, I get to everything by experience .. .but I really like such a short cooking time, considering that I have a two-year-old awkward running under my feet ..

Finally, they gave us the cartoon. What can I say, the service muddies something. They wrote in the act that the device is in good working order. Okay, my mother and I, women, may not figure it out, although there is no need to figure it out. But my husband with a technical education watched it. And all three, it turns out, thought that the cartoon was not gaining pressure. It seems that they fixed it on the sly)) Service on the verge of fantasy. Well, okay, the main thing is that now works, mmm on it))).
Girls, tell me how much time you need to set and how much pressure to cook a small piece of beef to a stew? We put the broth by default for 50 minutes. The meat is tough (
Nadin1234
Kamillie, I often cook on the Steamer program, since there the countdown from the moment the pressure was set, I cooked an average piece of meat (beef) in butter and 70 grams of water for about 40 minutes, the pressure should be set to the maximum 5 or 6. I there is no instruction now, I do not remember the pressure is regulated on the Bouillon?
Kamillie
Nadin1234, yes, it is adjustable, the default is level 5, I left it that way. But in an hour it was tough.
Erema
Girls, who cooked milk porridge under pressure? Share the regimen and pressure ....
Nadin1234
Erema, and you don't like the Milk porridge without pressure program? 94 grams, like a good temperature.
If with pressure, then set 15-20 minutes on the Steamer program, this is the net cooking time, not including the pressure set. It is better to set the pressure level not more than 3.
Erema
I'm on the milk mode VA, I really like it, I'm asking for the sake of experiment ... the milk was heated on the pilaf, it burned a little, it is necessary to reduce the pressure, you can see ... thanks
Kamillie

Question. and does not slowly bleed off the steam when setting the 6th level?
And now this is what happens (We put buckwheat on "Krupa" at a pressure of 6. It did not reach the sixth, only the fifth blinked, and a hiss was heard from the valve (Is that how it should be?
Maryfox
