Cooking method

  • I want to present you a recipe for cookies for adults. I have been preparing it for a long time for gatherings with my friends. The other day I got a new shape for the Nordic Ware cookie pan and decided to try this recipe in it.
  • All foods should be at room temperature.
  • Beat soft butter with sugar until white.
  • Add yolk, zest of 2 limes and juice of 1 lime and beat thoroughly. In the end, try it, if you think that the taste of lime is faint, you can survive another one.
  • Add tequila and salt to the butter mixture.
  • If you have strawberry chips, of course you don't need to add them, but they come out more fragrant with them, it's just that you can't buy them everywhere. Grind into powder.
  • Cut the whole berries into large pieces.
  • Add strawberries and strawberry powder to the butter mixture and knead gently.
  • Add sifted flour, mix everything thoroughly.
  • Preparing the sprinkling. In a bowl, combine salt, sugar and 1 lime zest.
  • In a spray bottle, mix water and tequila and refrigerate.
  • If you bake in a mold, then sprinkle 2-3 tsp on the bottom. l. sprinkle, put the dough on top and sprinkle with sprinkles again for 2-3 hours. l.
  • You get more topping than you need when you bake it in a mold. The rest of the dressing can be poured into a jar and stored in a cabinet, except for the one that came into contact with the protein.
  • Bake in a preheated oven to 175C for 40-50min.
  • Remove from the mold and cut into squares while the cookies are still warm.
  • If without a form, then take a cling film, put the dough on it and roll it up with a sausage in a diameter of 8-10 cm. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • We take out the sausage from the film and coat it with protein, sprinkle with sprinkle on top, slightly pressing down.
  • Cut into 2cm thick circles.
  • We bake in a preheated oven to 175C 15-20min
  • Sprinkle hot cookies with a pre-prepared mixture of tequila and water.
