Just recently I made lean okroshka. It's true without mushrooms. Delicious turned out, no words. Cracked her like a fool.

Irina, well now put some mushrooms too! It will be even tastier.
toffee
Oh, and more. I add apple cider vinegar instead of lemon. It also adds sourness.

What an interesting recipe! I have never heard that carbonated water was used instead of kvass! I will definitely do it tomorrow! I really wanted to taste your recipe, I myself really love okroshka and often cook it.
kavmins
but with a fish in general it will be super !!)))
velli
kavmins, Thanks for the advice! I will definitely try with fish. Which fish is tastier?
Lily
That's lovely! Another lean recipe for your bookmarks !!!! Thank you!
kavmins
velli, well, the most delicious for me was with sturgeon, and today - with red fish))) salmon, trout, but very good with pangasius, in principle, with any fish fillet without bones, it only needs to be steamed or boiled , best of all with the addition of brine .. try it, I really love any fish, that's why in okroshka it is very tasty for me ... but I don't know, it's not for everybody's taste ...))
velli
kavmins, I also really love fish, especially salmon and trout. I cook it often, but pangasius did not try to cook it. What taste does it have, what does it resemble?
kavmins
velli, pangasius - sole and it is also called sea chicken ...))))) delicious fish, fried in breadcrumbs, it is so fat, its taste is definitely not fishy, but you yourself should try ..)))
ang-kay
Thank you all for your attention to the recipe.

Good evening I myself am not a fan of this type of fish, it is greasy and tasteless to me, but my husband likes it I persuade you not to eat until you give in And you see for yourself .... Here's what they write about her:
"Fish BASA (PANGAS) recently appeared on the shelves of Europe under the name Basa or Sock. Pangasius, supplied from Vietnam to Russia, contains more fat than exported to the EU countries. The fish is very affordable at a price. It is sold mainly in the form of fillets or heads (frozen) ...Exported from Vietnam. It is mainly consumed fried.
This fish is native to South America (Peru). There she is bred for technical
goals. Fish meal from this fish is used for fattening livestock and
fertilizers in agriculture. It is not eaten there.
In many countries in North America and Europe, this fish is not allowed
to eat. Bassa is replete with high levels of poisons, bacteria, heavy metals, hormones.
The reason is that the Mekong River (Vietnam), where this fish is mainly farmed, is one of the most polluted rivers on the planet. Untreated waters of chemical and tanneries, sewage, mineral fertilizers from the fields are discharged into the Mekong.
When freezing fish, the same water of the Mekong River is used. To speed up
growth of fish (4 times) from China bring hormones that are injected into
body of females. The composition of the hormones is classified. And despite the demands
regulatory authorities for the quality of European products, manufacturers
refuse to give data on these hormones. Due to the relative low
the cost of this fish is mainly bought by the poor.
It has been noticed that the consumption of bass fish leads to liver damage,
blood diseases, damage to human internal organs.
Due to the ban on the sale of bass fish in many European countries,
Canada, America, unscrupulous businessmen add bass fish to
so-called crab sticks and other "culinary products"
from fish.
Food quality control organizations are not
recommend to eat bass fish and all derived products.
CAUTION! BASS FISH IS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH !!! "

Angela!I was very interested in the recipe!
Now post and I want to diversify the menu ...
I have cucumbers in the freezer, I froze them by rubbing them on a coarse grater. Do you think these will do?
To be honest, I only love seasonal cucumbers, so I decided to freeze ...

And one more thing: once I took a store-bought lean mayonnaise, it seemed to me that there was continuous chemistry ... Is it possible to put homemade lean mayonnaise in okroshka?
ang-kay
Natusichka, any cucumbers will do. Okroshka is very tasty.
