Squid in bread crumbs

Ingredients

Squid 1 kg
Breadcrumbs 0.5 cups

Cooking method

  • We take the carcasses of thin-walled squid. Scald with boiling water (after that they are easy to clean). We clean out the insides. Salt, roll in bread crumbs. We do not regret crackers. Put on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, sprinkle with vegetable oil and send to the oven.
  • Squid in bread crumbs
  • As soon as the squids are reddened, take out (do not overexpose, otherwise they will be dry).
  • Squid in bread crumbs
  • And .. you are welcome to the table ... yes with potatoes ...

Time for preparing:

20-25 minutes

Cooking program:

temperature - 170 degrees

Note

This very simple and quick dish is very helpful for my family during the fast.
I tried it in a monastery. I liked it very much. After I found out how easy it is to make it, I liked it even more.
Bon Appetit!

Thank you Tatiana! But I just now realized that I forgot to write that after putting the squid in a baking sheet, it is advisable to sprinkle it with vegetable oil. The photo shows. But the description does not ...
Everything, fixed.

Svetochka, thanks for the recipe, the main thing is not to fry.

I think that the onion below would be very useful. I take a note. When can we eat fish? I do not remember.

Tanya, I won't say that this is completely harmless for the stomach. Bread crumbs are grabbed in the oven, you get an appetizing golden brown crust. Not like that. like in a frying pan, of course ... But still ...

Irina, onion, of course, may come in handy. I gave this option, as they do in our monastery. And there are a lot of options - who loves what.
As for when you can eat them, then squids ...

Here is the priest's answer on this matter. Hieromonk Job (Gumerov) answers:

You are absolutely right. Fasting has spiritual purposes. However, bodily abstinence is a certain sacrifice that we make to God. According to the teachings of the holy fathers, bodily fasting is an average virtue. Fasting should be done. He teaches us moderation, the ability to control our desires. If the food mentioned in your letter is a delicacy for you, then refuse it. And one more piece of advice: if you haven't eaten this food before, if you have formed the image of fasting for years, then do not deviate from the usual. Otherwise, from time to time you will have a thought that weakened the feat.

If we approach the issue from the point of view of the charter, then it must be recalled that the criterion for lean food is clear - vegetable food. The taxonomy includes squid, shrimp, etc. to the animal kingdom. Fish, which the charter allows on the holidays, is considered a semi-empty food. Likewise, seafood (shrimp, etc.).

Of course, everyone determines the measure of fasting for himself ... someone does not use squid, because he believes that this is animal food, albeit bloodless.

Fish can be eaten this year on Palm Sunday 5th April, Annunciation (permitted) but
falls on the Holy Week, so the day is fast, without fish

Svetochka, thank you, took it to your bookmarks!

Today in the monastery for lunch they gave a salad of squid (not to monks, but to us, workers, and children, students of the gymnasium). Another confirmation of the fact that there is no common view on this issue. Everyone decides for himself (with the priest) how to treat this product. Fasting people, forgive me if you confused anyone.

Although these squid are delicious not only in fasting.
