Ice cream (vanilla, coffee) 100 g
Expresso coffee (I have caramel) ~ 50 ml
Chocolate chips and hazelnuts for decoration
Amaretto or any other liquor optional

  • In general, then, this is not a recipe at all. I would like to remind you about the Italian coffee-based dessert - Affogato. Translated from Italian, affogato means drowned.
  • If there is ice cream in the freezer, this dessert is prepared in a matter of seconds.
  • For me, it’s a lifesaver when I don’t know what I want at a given moment - cold or hot. Combine and get Affogato.
  • Pour one large or two small balls of ice cream over 3 tbsp. l. hot strong coffee. (You can add some liqueur to the coffee.) Garnish with chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts. Serve with a spoon.
