Note

Chlorella is a powerful antioxidant, fights hypertension and diabetes, boosts immunity, cleanses the body and generally works wonders.

Chlorella is a close relative of spirulina, both in origin and properties. One of the oldest plants, or rather, unicellular green algae that have survived to this day, chlorella grows mainly in fresh water bodies, and there are not many places for its growth on earth.

Why is chlorella good? It is difficult to list all of its positive properties for the body, there are a lot of them, so we will mention the main ones.

is a powerful antioxidant;
increases the absorption of fats;
reduces the risk of anemia, edema and proteinuria (increased concentration of proteins in urine) in pregnant women;
fights hypertension;
fights diabetes;
promotes rapid wound healing and tissue regeneration in general;
protects against the harmful effects of an excess of heavy metal cadmium in the body;
strengthens the immune system;
cleanses the body in general and the liver in particular.

Chlorella, like spirulina, has a characteristic pungent and rather specific smell. In particular, because of the smell, it is also made, including in tablets, to make it easier to take.

In the form of a powder, it can be diluted in water, vegetable juices (especially tomato), added to smoothies or salads, and in the form of tablets, simply taken with water.

And chlorella has flaws

Probably, microscopic unicellular algae will soon become part of the space menu: they are very productive and nutritious, they emit a lot of oxygen, and they are easy to grow in space. But ... enthusiasm should be tempered - so Soviet cosmobiologists believe. Recently, V.M.Shilov and his co-workers conducted an experiment that showed that a 30-day feeding on unicellular algae causes unfavorable changes in the composition of the human intestinal microflora. Of particular concern is the hundreds of times decrease in the content of bifidobacteria and lactic acid sticks. Microbes of lactic acid fermentation not only inhibit the processes of putrefaction in the intestines, but also contribute to the formation of B vitamins, which are absolutely necessary for humans.

The subjects who ate algae biomass (a mixture of chlorella and ccededesmus, containing 50% protein) disrupted the functions of the gastrointestinal tract, itchy skin and rashes. Biochemical studies have shown that the digestibility of algal proteins is much lower than that of animal proteins. All this suggests that a large amount of algae biomass cannot be eaten regularly, that it is necessary to develop perfect methods for purifying algae matter in order to obtain highly digestible proteins.

Gulsine, thanks for the recipe!

Is her taste and smell stronger or weaker? Can you interrupt with other products?

Why is the most useful - the most disgusting?

Allegra
How interesting ... now I have googled - there are all kinds of chlorella, different manufacturers, prices
Gulsine, where do you buy?
GruSha
Irina, no, not really, and chlorella is felt separately ...although I think if the cucumbers would be sweet, summer ones - generally excellent !!! ))) I also want to try a sweet version, more fruity

Sveta, I think there is not much difference, look at the ayherb, maybe it's cheaper there.
