Baked Stuffed Potatoes (Gefullte uberbackene Kartoffeln)

Ingredients

potatoes 5-6 pcs
bulb 1 PC
green onions small bundle
vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l
bacon or ham 150 g
cheese 200 g
sour cream 100 g
salt, pepper, seasonings taste

Cooking method

  • Of course, such a dish is best prepared from young potatoes, so as not to peel it, but to bake it with the skin. But now it is difficult to find a young one, so I boiled potatoes in their skins and then peeled them.
  • You need to boil potatoes in salted water almost until tender, without overcooking.
  • While the potatoes are boiling and then cooling down, you need to chop the onions and fry in oil.
  • Add chopped bacon or ham.
  • Transfer everything to a bowl.
  • Season with pepper, seasoning to taste, sour cream, grated cheese and stir.
  • Cut the potatoes lengthwise into two halves.
  • Carefully remove part of the middle of the halves.
  • Put the filling in each.
  • Baked Stuffed Potatoes (Gefullte uberbackene Kartoffeln)
  • Bake in the oven (200 degrees) for about 15 minutes.

  • Next time I'll sprinkle some grated cheese on top.

Ira, Thank you! Indeed, sometimes you want to serve more than just boiled potatoes. And here are two dishes in one at once.

I got to this amazing potato!
Tasty - no words! Simple - it couldn't be easier. Affordable - quite.
The day before yesterday I cooked potatoes for dinner. I caught several potatoes undercooked early. Yesterday I took out the middle of them, crumbled a bored sausage in the refrigerator, sprinkled it with dried grated cheese (left over from my daughter's culinary tests), smeared the onion there, instead of sour cream, with homemade mayonnaise - and into the oven. The daughter said "like pizza, but with potatoes. Cook." This is serious praise from her.
So I take them to the permanent ones. Thank you!
And the recipe is also very variable - you can chop a pickled cucumber into the filling, add a pea-corn from a can, and Bulgarian peppercorn, and whatever your heart desires.
And I also wanted to try the summer cottage option - bake potatoes in ash, burn an onion in the same place, stuff the potatoes with everything that came to hand (even with stew, even with the remnants of a shish kebab) and warm up on a wire rack. Or fold the stuffed halves, wrap in foil and bake again in the ash. And serve on lettuce or snow. That's where the beauty will be!
Thank you for the recipe!

Can I call you? Well, after these words, I went on a hike to collect things! I don’t want to know anything, I’m with you!

lira3003, you even need to
Let's go hiking! By all means!
