Nikolasha
Hello.
I bought a Brand 3801 bread maker.
During the kneading of the dough, periodic loud clicks are heard in the drive.
What is the cause of the malfunction, and where can I go about it?
ksenia_br
Good evening.
You can contact the master of our service center by calling a free phone (I will send you a phone number by personal message). Remote consultation will clarify the situation and the master will answer all your questions about service
Nikolasha
Thank you.
The service center confirmed the defect.
I bought a REDMOND stove.
I tested it. Works properly.
YuliaA
Good day.
I want to say thank you to Brand 3801 for a wonderful recipe for milk bread, for a nice appearance, for helpful staff, judging by the local Forum, after reading it, I decided to buy this device for myself.

Ordered in "Electroklad", brought 12.12.14 late in the evening.
The next day, Saturday night, I was going to bake Milk Bread.
Prepared all the products. Prepared the stove by reading the Instructions from cover to cover.
But my Beauty gave the error "e00" ... and after a few hours of waiting, I had to bake, kneading everything with handles, so that the products would not be lost. Now I am eating, writing here ...

The mood soured yesterday. Although not fatal, of course.
The question is, this "Elektroklad" is not self-pickup, where can I take it to hand it over? and shouldn't they bring it to me a new one for exchange, without taking it again for delivery?

Tell me, how often does this happen with these stoves? does it make sense to change something or just pass it? Do I need to receive an act of unfitness for repair or in my case there will be a simplified exchange, maybe 14 days have not passed yet?

Thanks in advance.

Nikolasha
If the stove does not turn on at all, then probably the store can check and exchange it for a working one, if 14 days have not passed. True, not all stores do this. They can be sent for inspection to the service center.
YuliaA
Good evening, thanks for your reply.
The stove did not turn on at all, but bought it on December 12, this Friday ... that is, not even two days have passed.
Yes, I would not like to go to service centers ... is it really impossible to check before delivery ... I paid them for the delivery of a serviceable product ...
however, it says that I kind of agree that the product is complete and without damage and, like, works, although it is also written that, they say, do not turn it on from the cold, let it settle)))) well, we defended a day for almost .... it turns out that in any case they can show us, if they turned it on right away, they would say, they say, they are to blame, they ruined the device, and if they did not turn it on right away, they would say, well, it was your right, but You did not use it)))) such a legal conflict ...

And you have such a hp? have not heard, does this often happen?
Nikolasha
I changed a faulty stove in Mvideo. They themselves carry out the dispatch to the service center and return delivery from it, and free of charge for the client.
True, I had to drag this stove to the Mvideo store myself.
YuliaA
What kind of stove malfunction did you have? also brand 3801?
You, too, have not passed 14 days and still in service? Did you give it a new one or after repair?
Nikolasha
Yes, Brand 3801. There was a malfunction in the mechanical part of the electric drive (grinding, clicks).
In principle, the characteristics of the stove are good. The main advantage is the ability to create baking programs yourself.
This oven has electronic scales, though flimsy.
There were no such stoves in the store for exchange.
Took Redmond RBM-M1902, but it looks like a marriage in it.
The baking temperature is low and the bread is soggy.
14 days have passed, I don't know what to do.
The Chinese drive quantity to the detriment of quality.
YuliaA
what a pity, Nikolay, that you are in trouble with the stoves too ...
tomorrow Monday, I will call this "Electroklad", what they say there. Unsubscribe.

and what is not Chinese today? and "non-Chinese", all goods are programmed for a short life, so that we buy-buy-buy ...
Nikolasha
In my opinion, the best bread is sourdough bread.
But the rise of the dough in this case is long, and the Brand 3801 oven will come in handy, which provides for the preparation of baking programs. I advise you to stay with this model. Maybe you're in luck now. "Two times shells do not fall into the same funnel"))
kvf
Crackling during kneading - this is what I had on the new Brand 3801 oven, it is the toothed belt of the agitator drive that slips along the gear due to weak tension. In my case, the motor, by displacement of which the belt is stretched, is fixed with 3 screws, 2 were screwed in half and the third was screwed in completely, but not tightened, this is a poor-quality assembly, I even thought that they are assembled in Russia, and not in China ... After tensioning the belt, it works for a year without any complaints, the bucket on the ribs is peeling, but here I am to blame.
Nikolasha
Thanks for the information. It's nice to deal with a "techie". Unfortunately, there was another malfunction in that oven of mine: a low baking temperature. The bread was damp in the middle, without any dark crust. Probably the temperature sensor (there seems to be a thermal resistance) was faulty. I changed Brand to Redmond and, oddly enough, she also doesn't bake anything - low temperature.
sazalexter
Nikolasha, Very often the reason lies not in the stove #
kvf
Two ovens from different manufacturers and the same problem? The heating element is switched on and off from the temperature sensor, but the voltage in the mains can be so low that the required temperature will not be reached even when the heater is constantly on. If I were you, I would make sure that the voltage is in order, connect the oven through an extension tee (for convenience of measuring the voltage) and when the heating element turns on, measure, if there is a significant difference from the standard 220 Volts, look for the reason in the network, measure it under load!
Nikolasha
Right. That's exactly what I did. The voltage is not sagging. TEN periodically turns on and off (observed by the apartment electronic electricity meter with the rest of the load turned off). Shows power approx. 600 watts Increased the baking time to 2 hours. The crust of the bread dries up, but the inside is damp. Changing flour, recipes - useless. Could China have used substandard thermistors? By the way, there are many complaints about raw bread in bread makers on forums and in reviews.
kvf
Since the heating element periodically turns off, then the temperature sensor is involved in the work, and it remains only to find out the actual temperature in the chamber and what it should be. In Brand, I would set the baking temperature on one of the manual modes, say, 150 degrees and check the temperature inside the chamber, but in Redmond I don't know if it is possible to set the temperature at will, if not, then you need to find out what it should be in your program, on which you print and measure. A thermometer, in my opinion, may not be super accurate: from a gas stove, oven, a tester with a thermocouple.
Nikolasha
It's a good idea with a gas stove thermometer. Should the bucket be empty or filled with water?
kvf
Empty or with a small amount of some kind of ballast (sand, salt) - the water will soar, you will not see the thermometer.
sazalexter
Nikolasha, Maybe buy Panasonic and the problems will disappear from him the power of the heating element is 550 W
Nikolasha
I will try to bypass the thermistor (temperature sensor) with an ordinary resistor. The temperature should rise.
kvf
In Brand, temperature and overheating sensors are attached to the side wall of the chamber, if you increase the thickness of the gasket under the sensor, this will have the effect of increasing the temperature without making changes to the electrical circuit of the device.
Nikolasha
I didn’t know what kind of sensor mount design was there. Your option is quite simple. Thanks again.

Today I brought a new Brand 3801.He took out a bucket, rinsed it, wiped it, put the bread on program 5 "French bread".

Problem: after 3.5 hours of cooking, a pungent smell of burnt insulation was detected in the kitchen !!!

I would like to understand the possible causes and further actions?

p.s. all labels and packaging have been carefully removed everywhere!
Nikolasha
The electronic board in the oven is coated with a special protective varnish, which heats up and emits a smell when first turned on. This is observed in new TVs, computers, etc. True, a faulty engine can also be the cause of the smell, but this is unlikely.
ksenia_br
amigas, indeed, such a feature is not excluded, the first few times during operation the smell may be present, then it should disappear
amigas
Thank you! I hope so! The second time, too, it sounded all over the apartment (I have no doors in the kitchen, so the smell spread beyond its borders, the hood saved a little) - the smell was frankly plastic mixed with the smell of bread.

The bread itself turned out ok.

New bread maker. I try to bake bread on the first program. During the initial kneading, the bucket all the time jumps out of the clamps and hits the body. How to overcome? Or just carry to hand over?
I think that if the stirrer was turned clockwise, this problem would not exist.
MariV
Delis, Did you fix the bucket well - that is, put it in the groove, and turned it?

Hello.
Are you sure you have correctly positioned the baking dish in the bread maker? Instructions for HP, page 8, paragraph 3 - Did your actions correspond to those specified in the instructions?
Delis
Everything is as in the instructions. I inserted it, pressed it lightly and turned it on. It holds for the first minute, and then jumps out. As I wrote above: "I think that if the agitator was turned clockwise, there would be no such problem."

I noticed that if you turn the mixer in the bucket (outside the bread machine) by hand, you feel a little resistance. I checked with an old bread machine (Panasonic), there is no resistance at all. For whom, how does the agitator rotate, with or without resistance?
kvf
And the mixer should rotate clockwise, which means your motor is turning in the wrong direction! Either the wrong motor was installed during assembly, or the polarity was reversed.

Regarding polarity, the following thought occurred to me. Maybe climb in, change? ...

About polarity
In an induction motor? Confuse inclusion? It needs a strong drink 🔗
In HP, scheme 3 is used.
Climb in to change, this is a loss of guarantee
Delis
Yes, I have already studied 🔗 and realized that it is better to go directly to the guarantee
sazalexter
Delis, the link should be like this 🔗

Changed to a new one. So far so good.

Hello! I turn to the whole caring bakery community for advice!
Background)))) I waited a couple of years for the Brand bread maker. At first, when their release resumed, then there was no money, or rather there was an option to buy a cheap one and immediately, but again I preferred to wait a little longer, but get what I dreamed of And then day X came, exactly 2 weeks ago I ordered it ( in Ozone). Since we live in Oryol, the children are small, it was not possible to come myself, my husband had to pick her up and bring her home for testing and baking, but the circumstances changed again and he did not bring the bread maker, but a relative took it from Ozon. And again I have gained patience, especially since there is to wait, here she is, darling, count on the spot. They just had to bring it to me from day to day. And again, from day to day it did not work out))))) I asked a relative to bake bread so that at least try it on the subject of performance, and finally, she got together last night, she could not before)))) I laid the products according to the instructions, chose mode 1, three it twisted for an hour, periodically peaked and that's it ... At the end - a liquid cold mass. She still tried it by hand, she says she does not heat at all .... The disappointment is just awful 14 days have passed today ... And she will not be lucky enough to get her to the service today. Here is such a coincidence ... Of course, now I will come to Moscow, take it to the service, but after factory marriage (if it is a factory marriage), as my extensive experience of using household appliances shows, the equipment still does not work normally ... And amid this mass of emotions and tears I have 2 questions for the technically minded public: 1. Maybe it's still not a factory marriage, but she pressed the wrong thing? can this even be? 2. If there is a factory defect, is there a chance to change the bread maker to a new one after these 14 days? I don’t need money for it and neither does another model. I ONLY want this one. Or none at all ...
ksenia_br
Good day!
I advise you to consult the master of our service center by calling toll-free 8-800-333-12-52.
Most likely this is a marriage if the temperature does not rise. The closest SC for you is in Kursk.
blackLilly
ksenia_br, thank you very much for your reply and useful information! And at the same time, I draw your attention to the key points in the message:

Hello!!!
So trouble has come to my kitchen ...
A stock fell out of the bucket, on which the scapula is put on ...
I don't know why this happened (I use household appliances very carefully) At the bottom of the bucket, even a small risk was scratched with a spatula.
Help, advise what my next steps are. The stove is no longer under warranty. We bought it in March last year.
ksenia_br
Good day.
You should contact your nearest Brand Authorized Service Center.

You can find the addresses and phone numbers of all Brand authorized service centers on the official website in the SUPPORT-SERVICE AND SERVICE section.

My power supply burned out in my bread maker. I went to the service center. They said that they repair brand bread machines only under warranty. They cannot replace the spare part I need, since it is impossible to purchase replacement parts from the brand. And what should I do now? The bread maker is only three years old, has not been used intensively - is it money down the drain?
