Cooking method

  • 1. Rinse the lentils, cover with water, boil for 10 minutes after boiling.
  • 2. Cut the carrots into strips and add to the lentils. I also added 3 small potatoes (not according to the recipe, but homemade ones like it better).

  • 3. I changed the meat group. Therefore, I cooked a little differently. I melted the bacon, took out the cracklings.
  • 4. Fried finely chopped onions and leeks in rings on this fat (fry until soft). Then add flour and a few ladles of vegetable broth, stir so that there are no lumps, add vinegar. Pour the entire mixture into a saucepan.

  • 5. Instead of smoked breast, I took homemade smoked pork (150 g) and homemade sausages (250 g). I cut the pork into large slices, the sausages into rings. Added to soup, brought to a boil and turned off.
  • 6. The author of the recipe cooked in this way (considering her meat set). Boiled half of the bacon with lentils, fried half and put on the end. Fried onions in the fat released. Chicken breast was also originally cooked for broth, then sliced ​​and added to the soup. Sausages were added at the end.
  • 7. Serve with herbs.
