The review is not mine - I came across somewhere in the net, but useful ...
Review: Multicooker Polaris PMC 0519D - I can't get used to it, but it seems quite good
Advantages:
Adjustable temperature, time, heating, removable inner cover, price
Disadvantages:
Takes up a lot of space, rounded saucepan
A month ago, I was presented with a certificate for my birthday in an online home appliance store. I have been thinking for a long time about buying myself a new multicooker, because my Panasonic SR-TMH10 is already very old. Now a huge number of multicooker is sold, all with some fancy functions. You can find a model from 1,000 to 30,000 rubles. I thought that it would not be difficult for me to choose a gift for myself, but I was wrong. Eyes just diverge from the variety of models. My main criterion when choosing was the presence of a removable lid, I also wanted a ceramic pan, but now I realized that it would not be as durable as a Teflon one.
I went shopping for a very long time in search of a multicooker that would suit me in all respects, but I didn't like anything 100%. I really wanted a small multicooker, but now all models are mainly for 4-5 liters. For us, this is very, very much. I always cook at one time, I don't like heated food, and guests in large numbers come quite rarely.
I didn't like the most "hyped" Redmond multicooker. The quality of their plastic is terrible, the saucepans are thin-walled. They have 2.5 liter models, which are very nice, but the seller told us that they are inferior. That is, they do not, for example, have frying or baking modes. Their pans are all narrow and high. I often make biscuits for cakes in a multicooker, so I wanted a wide saucepan with an open bottom. By the way, there are too few of them.
Most of all I liked the POLARIS multicooker. I liked them more by design, by the abundance of models, by the quality of the pots. Choosing a model, I also came to a dead end, since the functions of all are approximately the same. I do not need a lot of different bells and whistles, it will only confuse me. As a result, I chose the model purely for the appearance and novelty. I liked the completely black POLARIS PMC 0519D model. Someone will be scared off by such a coloring of kitchen appliances, but on the contrary I like it - it looks like a spaceship.

Its volume, of course, is 5 liters, but I could not find anything less, apparently, there is absolutely no demand for small ones.
I have not met this model in stores, I ordered it from the Internet using my certificate. Price RUB 4900
When they brought it to me, I was a little disappointed. But I know myself, I very often cannot accept something new instead of the old. So it was with the computer when I changed PC to MAC. It's hard for me to get used to it, but then I will only be glad.

What didn't I like at first sight? She's huge! If I had problems with how to wash Panasonis, then I have no idea how to wash such a giant, you can't even put it in the sink.It will be necessary to wipe it down more often and not to bring it to a dirty state. The 5 liter pot is also huge. It definitely won't fit in the refrigerator. If you consider that I sometimes cook buckwheat for one portion, then I will even be ashamed to do it in this slow cooker. The pan is quite heavy, with thick walls, looks reliable, has comfortable handles. I really wanted it to be ceramic, but then I read that such bowls serve less, they scratch faster. Well, if anything, I'll buy an extra one.
The bottom of the pan is slightly rounded, this is not at all good when making biscuits on a cake, especially when you need to bake several thin ones. Here you will need to somehow adapt. The pan itself is not much larger in diameter than the Panasoniс, but it is much higher. That is, if you fry the cutlets, then not much more will fit.

The touch screen was not very convenient for me. Firstly, everything is small and very bright, and secondly, the menu scrolls in only one direction, and there are quite a few functions. I constantly accidentally hit the panel with something and something on it turns on. You will always need to disconnect the multicooker from the network. I always had Panasonis turned on in sleep mode.

The first thing that infuriated me was that I could not turn off the enabled mode. I decided to try to turn on the multicooker to the "frying" mode, after which I could not understand for a long time how to reset it and return to the menu. The instructions said that you need to press the "Cancel" button, but after pressing nothing happened, only heating was canceled. Disconnecting from the network also did not help, since everything is protected from voltage surges and temporary power outages. After plugging in, the program continued to fry. I had to go online and figure it out. It turned out that I am not the only one that stupid. The cancel button must be pressed for a few seconds, only then everything will turn off.
Now I'll tell you about the advantages of which this multicooker has a lot.
There are as many as 19 standard programs in it. In all of them, you can change the cooking time right in the process. The Delayed Start button is effective for all these programs. You can set the time when the dish should be ready and it will be ready by this time.

To be honest, I do not know why so many standard programs are needed, if everything can be set by ourselves (in a multi-cook program). It's like a photographer does not understand why there are standard modes "Portrait", "Landscape", if you can set the desired shutter speed, aperture, etc. yourself. I agree that modes such as "porridge", "pilaf", "baking", "stewing "- very necessary, but the rest will be used extremely rarely. I already use mostly "multi-cook". In this program, you can set any temperature and cooking time.
After performing any mode, the "heating" is turned on, but it can be canceled - this is an indisputable plus, because if you forget the pilaf or buckwheat on the heating, the dish will be overdried.

There is a certain "multi-cook-plus" mode in this model. It differs in that you can program as many as 9 stages of cooking with different temperatures and times. The multicooker will remember everything. I don't know, honestly, for which such confused dishes this program may be needed, until I was looking for such complex recipes.
The lid of the multicooker opens automatically when you press the button. In general, this is quite convenient.

It is very pleasing that a panel with an elastic band is removed from the mutivarka lid. It can be washed separately. Honestly, I thought that the cover would be removed completely, but it's not bad anyway.

This model does not have a moisture trap, i.e. a cup, where condensation will drain from the lid. Actually, there isn't that much of it. For me, this is definitely a plus than a minus, because in Panasonic I constantly forgot to pour the condensate out of the cup and the water there could go bad. Here - one less problem.

As with all multicooker, there is a plastic steaming tray. The capacity is small, but I rarely use a steamer.

There are 5 more jars for making yoghurt.I have a yogurt maker, once I actively used it, but we eat very little sour milk, yogurt was constantly disappearing, and it's still a little difficult to do. I have not been using my yoghurt maker for a long time, but if I suddenly decide, I will most likely do it in it, and not in a multicooker. But for many, such a device will be a good addition to all multicooker delights.

The set includes a deep spoon, a spatula and a measuring cup. Everything is pretty comfortable.

In general, the multicooker is very good. The fact that for me personally there are flaws in it does not mean at all that they will be significant for others. She cooks great, all the dishes are delicious, the pastries are baked, the porridge is not boiled. I just need to get used to her better and I will love her very much, I'm sure. If you do not want to buy the most primitive and unpretentious multicooker, if you are interested in playing with the modes, temperature and other things, then you can safely buy one. The price, I think, is not at all high for so many functions.

Use time: 1 month
Price: 5000 rubles.
Year of issue / purchase: 2014

Overall impression: I can't get used to it, but it seems not bad

Multicooker in sinks is not washed !!! The size of any multicooker will be larger than models like the old Panasonic.

If you need a multicooker for one portion of buckwheat, then it is better to choose 2-3 liters, and not regret the size of a 5-liter bowl.

I unplug all my multicooker.

I am also surprised by such an excessive selection of programs. But Multipovar will not replace the main modes, because they have an algorithm, and on Multipovar this algorithm must be reproduced independently - not everyone will bother with this. In general, in general, the modes of this model are excessively precise, including the Multipovar with its 9 (!) Stages

The instructions do not really say about this, but with touch panels this is often the case that to cancel (or start) you need to hold the sensor for a couple of seconds.

Hello. In all the descriptions, comparisons and reviews regarding this model, the function of adjusting the time is declared, and in some programs - the temperature adjustment "on the fly", that is, during the execution of the program, but in the instructions there is not a word about this. Whom to believe? And one more question for the owners of this model - how often do you use the multi-cooker plus, that is, how much is this function in demand and important?
ZagAl
Well, firstly, the instructions describe the procedure for changing the temperature and time during the cooking process, but in reality (in my multicooker) it is possible to change the temperature, but it is impossible to change the time. That is, the time on the indicator changes, but it turns off anyway according to the old time.
I use a multi-cook plus only when stewing cabbage and only in order to lay tomato paste and spices at the right time by a sound signal. But I am not very sophisticated in cooking. Maybe someone uses it to a greater extent.
And more of the cons:
- I do not like that after the end of the program and the transition to the temperature maintenance mode, the time is displayed not in minutes, but in hours. And the rest of the multicooker is like a multicooker.
- She needs her own saucepan. 0517, 0523 ... do not fit. It seems like a small problem, but if there is no such thing on sale, then the problem!
If I compare 0519D with 0527D (I had to use it) today I would choose the second one.
ZagAl
topik, pardon me. Yesterday I was preparing a cake and deliberately changed the cooking time during the program. The display shows the new time, but the program ends at the old time. Today I specifically looked through the instructions and, indeed, it does not say anything about the ability to change the temperature and time during the program's operation. So this model does not have these possibilities! And in model 0527D it is, so I confused it.

In my time it changes normally, if I add 5 minutes to 20 then the mode will work for 25 minutes. I use a multi-cook + quite actively, sous vide, ham, even a simple amlet consists of 2 stages.
