Funny gadget Nutcracker. In order to crack a nut, you need to put it in the paws of the squirrel and press on the tail.

Yeah, cute nutcracker. Somehow julifera showed so red. I really wanted to buy, but it turns out that this squirrel needs small nuts, and walnuts of the usual size are large for her. Therefore, I refused to buy.
Rarerka
Qween, and in the picture she is holding a walnut
Qween
That's it! I wanted to stab the walnuts. It is not clear in the photo that the nut is small.

PS: Although, I'm looking closely now, I notice that there are hazelnuts and walnuts near the squirrel. The difference in the size of the nuts is somehow not very big. We have walnuts that are growing.

Rarerka - and they held her alive? Did she seem tough to you?
I twisted it in the store and I thought that the lever (tail) was too flimsy designed for walnuts.
True, in our nuts, in addition to size, there is often some kind of special strength, that is, there are often small ones, but such that even hit with a hammer. I doubt that the tail of this squirrel will survive after such nuts. But maybe I'm not right.
Red is generally very pretty - how beautiful the decor is great, plus the hazelnuts still snap easily.

and were they holding her alive?
The fact of the matter is that no. But I also thought that it was not for the Greek tough nuts. There is something more brutal needed. I was attracted by an interesting design solution

Yes, probably this "rat-beel" will be stronger.

Here in Canada, walnuts do not grow, but nutcrackers make great ones !!!

In Canada, walnuts do not grow, but their southern neighbor has a lot ...

Now almost everything is done in China. The main thing here is who gave the idea to production!

I do not have such an abundance of nuts to start an extensive collection of nutcrackers, so I only have three of them -

Nutcracker (nutcracker) I have a designer type Alessi nut, but poor thing is so small that either scratch their nose only peel pistachios ...
dopleta
Well, yes, judging by the blade on the nose, it is specifically for pistachios. I would definitely buy one, because I use an empty half of the shell to open poorly opened pistachios!
fomca
And I have big harvests of walnuts. This year we have collected one and a half large bags of nuts. I do quite well with a nutcracker as in the third picture.

And here is my nutcracker, quite a rare one (great-grandmother):
Nutcracker (nutcracker)

I can't say that it's very convenient, but it works nonetheless. And by the most conservative estimates, he is 120-130 years old.

Well, you must! My grandfather once made a similar machine himself in order to chop nuts in large quantities (he had two huge walnut trees in his garden) and we, the little ones, were amused with great pleasure with this contraption. But the pen, as for me, was better at my grandfather. Wooden round, very comfortable.
Merri
Admin, cool nutcracker!
Chef
We tried different nutcrackers. The best was this "Fungus":

Nutcracker (nutcracker)

Screw nutcrackers working on the principle of a screw press and allowing a smooth increase in the load on the nut.

Unlike other nutcrackers (especially tongs), nuts are cracked with this "fungus" easy the child can handle it. Recommend
Umka

Chef, and where in early spring such handsome men sprout ???
Chef

Oh how many devices to crack a nut)
and I split walnuts in half with a knife, and the halves break easily with my fingers))
Pchela maja
Well, you won't give the kids a knife, and so with a squirrel, the child is in business, helps his mother with pastries)))))

Here's another original nutcracker:

Nut cracker

Nutcracker (nutcracker)

How many doorframes, polished countertops, teeth and fists would have been preserved if at one time we had such an unusual Naomi nutcracker for nuts.

Instead of using a toy in the shape of a man with a terrifying smile in a stupid hat, it is easier to crack nuts with an elegant fishnet device. We put the nut on a special stand, pull back the spring, one blow and you're done!

See how Naomi works:

Cool !!! I really appreciated it !!! I would buy

Very comfortable. And heavy and specific))). I have one)).

No one spoils the table, it has its own beech platform (probably beech), as in the picture. It can be screwed to some kind of table if you wish, if you really chop a lot of nuts all the time. It is very stable, the lever is large, massive, so it breaks easily even our local thick-skinned nuts of the Tula region.
