Wheat flour 250 g
Brown sugar 50 g
Butter 50 g
Ground cinnamon 1h l. complete
Salt 0.3-0.5 tsp
Milk (kefir) 150 ml
Milk, sugar and cinnamon for the top
Finely chopped apples (can be dried) 0.5 tbsp.
Baking powder prescription 3 tsp

Cooking method

  • Easy, fast baking with good results without eggs. Something in between scones and sweet bread. And what a delicious sugar crust it turns out! I personally liked it :)
  • - Apples here are optional, but if you want to bake with them, then cook them in advance. Cut fresh or sun-dried apples into small pieces. I soaked the dried ones in cherry liqueur for 15 minutes. With apples, the taste is much richer.
  • - Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and very cold chopped butter in a food processor and make crumb. Everything will work out perfectly if you make the crumb with your hands or with a knife. The main thing here is speed, so as not to heat the oil.
  • - While mixing, quickly pour the milk and, not too zealous, knead the dough. Add apple slices to it.
  • - Shape a cake with a diameter of 18-20 cm on baking paper sprinkled with flour (for a 2 cm high pizza oven), making the edges slightly lower.
  • - Cut the cake into 6 pieces, brush with milk and sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon.
  • - Bake in a preheated oven (180-200) (pizza oven) until dry, beautiful top, checking the doneness.
  • The cake became more mature and aromatic in taste on the second day. Moreover, I began to add a little cherry liqueur to the dough.
