Cottage cheese buns with apples

Ingredients

cottage cheese 5% 200 g
vegetable oil 100 ml
sugar 100 g
egg 1 large
flour 300 g
baking powder 3 h l
small apples 2 pcs
condensed milk 3 tbsp
Brown sugar 3 tbsp
vanilla, cinnamon optional

Cooking method

  • Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve.
  • Cottage cheese buns with apples
  • Add sugar and egg. Whisk at high speed and add a little vegetable oil. Add flour and baking powder and knead the dough. There will be a rather dense bun (like shortbread dough). Peel and grate the apples, add them to the dough and knead well. The dough will turn out to be already soft, sticking to your hands.
  • Cottage cheese buns with apples
  • We form balls with wet hands and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
  • We make cross-shaped cuts on top (with scissors it is more convenient to do this) and drip there a drop of condensed milk and sprinkle with brown sugar on top.

  • We bake in the oven at 200 C for -35 minutes.

  • When you taste the middle, the first impression is that there is not enough sugar. But these buns make a very tasty soft-crispy sugar crust. And together we get a very balanced taste. For myself, I decided that I will not increase sugar in the recipe.
  • Py. Sy. Eating the second loaf, I thought that my apples were sweet, but if they are sour, then, probably, you need to add sugar to the dough. What a delicious crust !!!

What beauty! I bookmark the recipe, and thank you for the ruddy royal buns

Try it, fast and delicious!
Rusalca
Well! Delicious again! How to eat everything? Bookmark it! Thank you!
kseniya D
Rusalca, join the huge army of backers, asking-how do you have time for everything?
Rusalca
Ksenia, thanks for the invitation, I have been in this army for a long time (not very much of course) and apparently for a long time!
Dutya
Yesterday I was looking for a recipe with apples and cottage cheese, there were some casseroles. And then such a miracle. I'll cook today.
kseniya D
Katya, we will be waiting for the report.
Natalia13
Thank you Ksenia! Delicious buns turned out, after charging the phone I will show the photo.
Now about the changes and additions to the recipe - I added vanilla and ground cinnamon to the dough, grated apples on a beetroot grater, kneaded everything with my hands (it was too lazy to get Kenwood)
Baking, you write that you need to bake at 200 degrees 35 minutes. In 10 minutes such a high pace. the buns turned brown but soggy, slowed down. to 160 and baked until tender, torch test.
kseniya D
I would also add cinnamon, but my daughter doesn't eat. I even hid from her that there are apples. She categorically does not eat fruit pies and, in general, all processed fruits. If I found out that there are apples (and it doesn't matter that they are not visible) I would not even try, but I ate 4 pieces at dinner.
And at the expense of baking, whoever has an oven.
The main thing is that you like the result.

My oven is wonderful! 200 degrees for any oven, and even 35 minutes is too much.
Recommended: hi: 10 - 180 degrees, until ready.

Oh, what beautiful rolls!
My oven is wonderful!
So no one says that you have a bad one. Everyone knows their oven and is guided by its work. I, for example, do not have an electronic setting of the temperature, but by turning the knob to a certain risk, respectively, I almost twisted it or twisted it, and boh knows what temperature is set.And then according to the circumstances.
Rusalca
Natalia13, very tasty buns!

And I am with the report. I decided to add more sugar-120g. Baked for 200g but 30min. The cookies are delicious, on the second day they became soft. Sugar need not be increased, it turned out to be sweet for mom.

Cottage cheese buns with apples

After adding apples, the dough became so sticky that there was no question of scissors, it lay like a hedgehog on a baking sheet
Dutya
I just saw that I forgot condensed milk. Next time I will make sugar with a recipe and with condensed milk)

I think it all depends on the curd. I had dry cottage cheese, but with softer, of course, no koloboks will work.
Even in the form of picenki, not rolls, it's still delicious

Kate and mine too, but I read that -

and still cut it, although it turned out not as beautiful as my Xenia.

Oh, I forgot, I used 5% cottage cheese. I never use low-fat or 0% fat cottage cheese in baking.
kseniya D
I also have 5% cottage cheese, all the same, compared to 18%, it is probably low-fat. I am less than 5% and do not buy.
Little dragon
thanks for the recipe!
from myself I will add - eh! I should have read the comments! why didn't I add cinnamon?
and one more thing - girls, besides the oven, you need to keep an eye on the flour - I made the first portion almost to waste, I'm stupid penguin, and then I added flour and everything was fine!
since the apple was one and sour (I love these), then I put the sugar in half against the recipe - if I didn’t know, I would never have guessed that it was in buns!
temperature and time - by prescription

Low fat is 0% fat, and everything above 0 has at least some% fat.

Ksenia I propose to write in the recipe - add vanilla and / or cinnamon if desired.

Never weigh the recipe flour, look ONLY by the consistency of the dough.
I wrote notes on the oven for readers.

kseniya D
I added vanillin and cinnamon.
That there was no confusion with cottage cheese, I corrected it in the recipe.
And, in general, Wikipedia says that:
• Bold (19-23%);
• Classic (4-18%);
• Bold (non-greasy) (1.8%)
• Low fat cottage cheese (0%)
