Teriyaki Salmon by Gordon Ramsay

Ingredients

salmon 600 g
garlic 2 slices
ginger 3-5 cm
soy sauce 3 tbsp
sauce 1 tbsp
maple syrup 1 tbsp
olive oil 2-3 tbsp
vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Put chopped garlic and ginger in a mold. Pour in the soy sauce, mirin sauce, maple syrup and olive oil. Dip the salmon in the marinade and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil. We spread the fish skin side down. Put pieces of ginger on top. Fry, turn over. Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet. Tilt the pan and pour the salmon sauce over.
  • Put the fish on a plate and pour over the sauce.
  • It turns out sooooo delicious.

Teriyaki composition
It can be different. Teriyaki is based on soy sauce, to which mirin is added in various combinations - sweet rice wine, sake, honey or sugar, as well as fish sauce, garlic, ginger, and other spices.
The main base of the sauce is soy sauce and mirin.
The composition of classic teriyaki is the same amount of soy sauce and mirin, sugar and ground ginger. Proportions - 6 tbsp. spoons of mirin and soy sauce - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of ground ginger. Mix the ingredients, keep on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
