Puff pastry baskets with cauliflower

Ingredients

Finished puff pastry packaging
Cauliflower 300-350g
Hard cheese 100-150g
Egg 2 pieces
Sour cream 3-4 tbsp. spoons
Salt and black pepper taste
Vegetable oil for lubrication

Cooking method

  • 1. Pre-defrost the dough.
  • 2. Boil the cauliflower (disassemble for advice, put them in boiling salted water, after boiling, cook for 1.5-2 minutes).
  • 3. Prepare the cheese filling: finely grate the cheese, lightly beat the eggs. We mix cheese, eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4. Roll out the dough and cut into squares of the size that are needed for our molds. I used the following molds:

  • 5. Grease the molds with vegetable oil, put the dough in them. You can remove the corners, or you can leave it by slightly bending over the edges.

What a simple and beautiful recipe! I'll show my friend - they have a family of vegetarians, they eat a ton of cauliflower.
Can this be done from frozen?
And do I still need to defrost it?
More I think the puff pastry should be replaced with butter-curd

Piano, I have never tried it from frozen, in our stores fresh cabbage is sold even in winter. But you can always try.

Piano, Lena, frozen cabbage goes very well too. Immediately, without defrosting, throw it into boiling water, cook for two minutes and then according to Anna's recipe.
Rusalca, Anna recipe is very interesting, I want to try.
