Ingredients

Protein 3-4 pcs
Granulated sugar 200 g
Lemon juice 10 ml
Salt whisper
Corn starch 30 g
Cream 35% 300-500 ml
Powdered sugar for powder
Seasonal fruits taste

Cooking method

  • I found this recipe on Bork's website, because I really liked this dessert, and my oven bakes it very problematically, I'm just happy that in MV the dessert turned out the first time and without any stress, that's why I decided to post the recipe (i.e. K. Pavlova is already on the HP).
  • It seems to me that it is impossible to come up with a simpler dessert. Beat the whites with sugar, lemon juice and starch as follows.
  • First, beat the whites with a pinch of salt, then add 100 grams of granulated sugar, beat, add lemon juice and the last 100 grams of granulated sugar mixed with cornstarch.
  • Cut a circle out of baking paper on the bottom of the MV and place the whipped egg whites there.

The dessert is named after the ballerina Anna Matveevna Pavlova, who toured Australia and New Zealand in 1926. Moreover, the Australians and New Zealanders still cannot share the primacy of creating this dish. According to research, the cake recipe originated in New Zealand. Keith Money, biographer of Anna Pavlova, found that the chef of a restaurant in a hotel in Wellington, New Zealand, created this dessert in 1926 to treat a ballerina with it during her world tour.

However, in Australia it is believed that the dessert was first invented by the chef Bert Sachet in 1935, when he worked at the Esplanade Hotel. The cake was made on the occasion of the birthday and, introducing a new dessert, the chef exclaimed: "As airy as Pavlova." According to this version, this is how the name was assigned to the dessert.

Anthropologist Professor Helen Leach of the University of Otago New Zealand has compiled a cookbook library containing 667 recipes for this dessert from 300 different sources. In her book "The Story of Pavlova's Dessert: A Piece of New Zealand Culinary History"

This cake is based on a meringue, reminiscent of a white ballerina pack, and this cake is decorated with white cream made from cream and fruits (kiwi, strawberry, mango).
