I'll wait for my cabbage to appear ... I'll bake such a pie with it

With the permission of the author of the recipe, I will write my own version of the dough = I baked a jellied pie from what was = a liter of store cottage cheese, a little diluted with milk, 4 eggs, to give it an egg taste, homemade eggs, 4 tablespoons of scraped butter, 1 tsp. soda, 2 tsp. white balsamic vinegar (I add at the end of the batch so as not to weaken the lifting force of the bubbles), salt 1 tsp. and flour until the dough is thick, so that what is taken with a spoon is kept in a lump. did not flow, but still not the dough for rolling. I laid the dough with a spoon on the bottom of a baking dish with high sides (I have 35 by 24), spread it along the bottom, stuffing on it = green onion mixed with coarse cheese, and covered with the remnants of the dough = with a spoonful of peas and gently spread it so that the onion does not stretch for the dough. In the oven until tender. What I liked about this version of a rather thick dough - cut pieces of the pie keep their shape well, do not break, the dough is soft, porous, egg, and you can make any filling. The dough was kneaded with spirals of a hand mixer. And jellied pies with onions and eggs = always tasty, and simplicity and ease of preparation
Elven
Irina, an interesting option And how is a liter of cottage cheese?
Irgata

Eh, Lenkin, you can't catch us!

Impressions from the dough - for my taste, sugar can be 1 tablespoon, and butter up to 100 g. But this is a matter of taste.

M-dya! If MariVanna had to wait for me, she would have swollen with hunger for a long time!
Only today I got to him. Now, having cracked a pie with sweet tea with lemon, I will report! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS!
I will definitely bake some more. The fact that it is delicious is okay, it seemed like it was clear from the composition ... but! He's soooo gentle! My God, I even thought at first that I was not baked. And it turns out to be such a soft dough!
I didn't cover the top completely, I left the artistic mess and got a colored crust. The pie is juicy fresh! Lenusk, thank you very much for the recipe! I will now experiment with different fillings.
Oh yes, my shape is 27cm, so the cake turned out to be short, but this did not detract from its merits!
There was no time to take beautiful pictures (saliva flowed like a dog's), so take what you have.

And I, too, with pie! My husband rammed an armful of this onion from the dacha, so where, one wonders, to put it. Helen Elven, Your recipe turned out to be a salvation for me and ... a discovery! I have never baked pies with such a filling, but it turned out to be so tasty and the pie itself is very easy to eat. My son finally surprised him by saying that he smells like ... pizza, although I didn't add a single gram of cheese. So the pie slipped with a bang!

Magician
I came to say thank you very much! The pie turned out to be awesomely tasty, I had to kick myself out of the kitchen so as not to eat too much, changed a little for those who were losing weight: I took low-fat kefir, did not add butter to the filling, and in the dough I replaced 100 g of butter with soft 0% cottage cheese, but it turned out anyway dangerous for the figure - delicious

Thanks again for the recipe! For the last time I made it in the form of a thin cake, cutting off the butter and sugar by half! The result is a taste close to the Ossetian pie with a golden brown crust!

Made this pie. What can I say - you can be stunned from one smell! Of course, I reduced the oil, replaced it with cottage cheese, the rest according to the recipe. And even the next day it became even tastier (I warmed it up in a micron).
