Stewed herring with potatoes in a slow cooker

Cooking method

As a matter of fact, there was fresh-frozen herring, I didn't want to salt something at all, I decided to throw it into a slow cooker.
I cut the carcasses without heads and entrails into large pieces, added peeled and chopped potatoes, seasoned with salt, pepper, added a pinch of nutmeg, poured melted butter and stewed for 2 hours.

Note
The herring turned out to be very juicy, the dish is almost dietary.
But for an amateur - because of the bony fish.
