Fish baked in portions with cheese and vegetables (for Sunday lunch)

Ingredients

Haddock (fillet) 600 g
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Sweet tomato 1-2 pcs.
Cheese (cheddar + parmesan) 80 g
Mayonnaise 4 tbsp. l
Salt, pepper, spices for fish.

Cooking method

  • It cooks quickly, it turns out deliciously, the baked fish is beautifully served in this way!
  • For this recipe, I recommend choosing lean, white-fleshed fish, preferably not raised in captivity. Our choice is haddock! It is more juicy than cod, has no specific smell, is low in calories and is universal for many recipes.
  • - Take the finished fillet or cut the fish into pieces (with bones) so that they can be laid flat in a baking dish. Salt, pepper, sprinkle a little with lemon juice and place in the mold with the skin down, leaving small gaps between the pieces.
  • - Put thinly sliced tomatoes on the fish.
  • - Then on each piece we put thinly sliced onion in half rings.
  • - Cut off the corner of the bag of mayonnaise and cover the pieces of fish over the onion with a thin stream of mesh. (There should be a little mayonnaise)
  • - Cover the slices with grated cheese on top (I really like the mixture of cheddar and parmesan, but I found the usual portioned cheese on hand).
  • Fish baked in portions with cheese and vegetables (for Sunday lunch)
  • Bake at 180 gr until golden brown. If the oven is strong, and the fish is dry, then you can first cover the form with a glass lid on top, and about five minutes before it is ready to brown the top without a lid.
  • Arrange on a dish decorated with herbs;)

The dish is designed for

4 servings

Time for preparing:

25 minutes

Note

We cook such fish very often, especially in the case of unexpected guests, since there are always such simple ingredients at hand. You can cook in a slow cooker!
