In March this year I bought a multicooker Polaris PMC 0310AD (10 programs + Multipovar), 3 liter.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0310ADMulticooker Polaris PMC 0310AD
I really like the multicooker. There are plenty of programs, everything is cooked, stewed, baked perfectly. But with the Pasta program, something does not work for me, I used it for the first time yesterday, I decided to cook pasta. She began to do everything according to the instructions: she poured water, salted, closed the lid, waited for a signal, opened the lid, started the pasta, the boiling stopped. After waiting a little, the water did not boil, I closed the lid. Over time, a hiss appeared from the valve, I opened the lid, it boiled normally, but there was foam and I opened the lid again. In a matter of seconds, boiling stopped altogether. The countdown time started, but there was no boiling at all and I closed the lid again. While cooking, I was tormented. I cooked them all the same. But how to make them just cook on their own, without constantly opening and closing the lid, because when the lid is open, they simply languish, but should they cook? I increased the cooking time and they were cooked, but not as it usually happens when cooking on a gas stove in a saucepan, that is, they did not seem to be cooked in a multi. Maybe someone succeeds in cooking pasta normally, and not like me? By the way, in this cartoon there is also the program Pelmeni / sausages. I, too, have not yet used it, but I think there will also be something similar to the Pasta mode .... That is, the water boils, you put the food in and the boiling stops completely, for a long time ... Owners of such a multi - please respond?

Well, it’s a pity that no one except me bought such a slow cooker. There is not even anyone to consult ... And the multicooker is a good, fully functional baby. The multi-cook is also excellent from 30 to 160 degrees and the pitch is excellent.

I bought a multicooker 0308AD. It looks exactly like yours, only it has 8 programs + multi-cook and a teflon-coated bowl.
Lagri
Irina, how do you use the Pasta mode? After the signal, I put in the pasta and the boiling stops ... And how are you?
Irin1
In my 0308AD, there are 2 less programs, so I don't have "paste", it was apparently excluded as not very popular. Or maybe this mode in such a small cartoon is flawed. By the way, there are no "dumplings with sausages" either.
Lagri
Well then you probably have a Steam or Steamer program. I don't have such a program. Of course, the Multipovar can do anything, but the Pasta program gives a signal to add pasta, it’s convenient, like b, but the Multipovar doesn’t. And with the Dumplings / Sausages mode, the same problem. Maybe this is not a problem - I just can't do it, maybe I'm doing something wrong ...
Irin1
Yes, I have programs: soup, cereals, milk porridge, frying, stewing, baking and steaming (heating) + multi-cook. "Steamed" was used for steaming vegetables. When the water boils, the cartoon gives a signal and the time starts counting. I don't cook pasta in a cartoon. It seems to me that on the stove (gas) anyway faster.
I think that you are doing everything right, the point is in these programs themselves.

I also have Warm-up - so it can be used as a Steam mode? Is there a signal when the water boils? I have not used this mode yet, I have to try. In another cartoon, a 5-liter one, I used the Pasta program, when I cooked pasta in a navy way, but in this one something does not work out. I fried minced meat with onions in the Pasta, then I added pasta and water, slightly covering the pasta and for the Pasta program - it was convenient for me to cook like this. That's why I want to learn how to use this program in this cartoon.
Irin1
The signal is being given. You can try to warm up, my program is called "steam / warm up". So they are identical.Try it, success!
Lagri
I will definitely try. Thank you for responding.

Girls, hello! Lagri, thank you for opening the topic about this slow cooker. The fact is that I first saw her in one chain store at a price of less than 1,000 rubles (for a promotion). I got interested, went for info, but did not find it (in particular, on this site, I did not go to others). The action ended long ago, but since then I remember about it as about some mysterious "lady". She interests me in a small volume (looking after my mother). I myself have MV Polaris and I really like it. Now the questions are: to what temperature is it maximum heating? Do all programs have time changes? Well, in general, the programs are interesting, how do they work? I realized about the paste, it's a pity that it is incorrect. At 0517 it works great. I looked, its power is small, but the volume is small, how long does it take to get the temperature?
Loya
The power is 750 W, it even has an auto-heating shutdown! And a removable inner cover !!! Cool thing! It’s a pity that I didn’t buy it at that attractive price! How does baking work?
Lagri
Loya, the function of the multicooker is excellent. All programs work very well, for me the temperatures in the modes are suitable, very satisfied. On the Soup mode, for example, soup is cooked and simmered, the broth is transparent. Milk porridges do not run away, they cook very well, any, and oatmeal as well. The program temperature is set in the same way as in other cartoons, no slower. I also did not fully understand the Frying mode, especially at a temperature of 160 degrees. Frying temperatures vary. I fried potatoes in this mode, fried well and did not think to burn. I even periodically closed the lid to make the potatoes softer. The highest temperature is 160 degrees, it is on Zharka and Multipovar. Multi-cook from 30 degrees to 100 degrees. with a step of 5 degrees. And from 100 to 160 step 10 deg. Baking works very well, everything is baked and does not burn, as happens in other cartoons. There is a shutdown of Autoheating, it's great for me, it often happens. Internal removable cover - no. I bought this slow cooker not cheaply, for the usual price, which I do not regret, and then I saw it in the Metro for 1111 rubles, but what can you do ... And for a price of less than 1000 rubles. I probably would have bought two (mine cost me 2.5 tons). I like it and I think I'll make friends with the Pasta mode too, just after that time I didn't try it.
Lagri
Now I specifically decided to check the Pasta mode, cooked pasta. This is how it turned out! Set the default time to 8 minutes. The water boiled and the multicooker squeaked after 10 minutes. I loaded the pasta and closed the lid (and according to the instructions it does not need to be closed), after 3 minutes the countdown started. With the lid closed, the pasta was boiling, but at first it was rather weak (I spied), nothing ran through the valve and did not foam (like last time). Before the end of the regime, steam came from the valve, apparently boiling more than during cooking. I slightly opened the lid and saw a boil, it means that the mode is still working and I panicked in vain. The pasta is boiled! But I had pasta without flour bloom, and if flour was present, then ... I don't know what would have happened with the lid closed. So the Pasta mode works with the lid closed. And the first time I cooked according to the instructions with the lid open after boiling water.
Bmw
Lagri, good day! Please tell us about the steam mode! have you already tried it in heating mode? Does the multicooker come with a grate-steamer? I am thinking about buying this multicooker. Thank you in advance!)
Lagri
Bmw, there is no Steam mode in this multicooker, but there is a Multi-cook mode, which at a certain temperature can replace it, the time and temperature are set at your choice. And there is also the Heating mode, which is also suitable for steaming, there the temperature is 115 degrees and the time is from 5 minutes. up to 1 h. My MB included a steaming grid, no steamer container.
SvetlanaYa
very interesting model
