Rice "pies" with milk (Steba sandwich maker)

Rice cakes with milk (Steba sandwich maker)

Ingredients

boiled rice 500-550g
milk 100-120g
eggs 2 pcs.
grated cheese 2 tbsp. l.
tomato 1 PC
olives 5-6pcs

marinade:
salt, sugar 1 tsp.
soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
juice and zest of 1 lemon
dill, fennel, anise

Cooking method

  • Marinate the milk for 30-40 minutes. If there is no boiled rice, boil it as for sushi (about 1.5 mstk). Drain all the marinade into rice, add eggs and cheese, mix well. Cut the milk into 2 cm pieces, add chopped tomatoes and olives to them. Put half of the rice in the grooves of the sandwich maker, put the whole filling on top, and the remaining half of the rice on top. Close and click the sandwich maker, bake, taking into account the heating, for 15-18 minutes. Moreover, I did not particularly try to get the rice exactly into the molds, since the sandwich maker herself formed the "pies" and divided them. The result is crunchy outside and juicy inside "pies", and in fact a ready-made dish "side dish / milk". Well, very tasty and simple!
