Cookies from what was (based on Kurabye)

Ingredients

butter / spread 185 g
powdered sugar 80 g
premium wheat flour 310 g
small egg 1 pc (50g)
orange peel from 1 pc
boiled condensed milk taste

Cooking method

  • Beat softened butter / spread, icing sugar and a couple of tablespoons of flour with a mixer.
  • Beat the egg lightly with a fork.
  • Add the rest of the flour, the zest of 1 orange and the egg to the oil mixture.
  • It is advisable to add the egg gradually, especially if it is clearly more than 50 g, so that the dough does not turn out to be too liquid.
  • Place the cookies on a dry baking sheet using a dispenser, syringe or bag.
  • You can simply roll out and cut out the figures, or shape into balls the size of a tennis ball and flatten them onto a baking sheet with a hammer for beating the meat for a nice fluted pattern.
  • Place a little (or a lot - to taste) of boiled condensed milk in the middle of each cookie.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.

The dish is designed for

40 pcs

Time for preparing:

Preparation 20 minutes, baking 15 minutes

Cooking program:

oven 210-230 * С

Note

This time I used a creamy spread of 72.5% fat, and for the filling I used boiled condensed milk.
You can also use jam, marmalade, jam cherry, etc. for the filling.
The dough should be soft, light, and not sticky. well gathering in a ball.
The baking time depends on the size of the biscuit and the oven.
The cookie should quickly acquire a slightly golden color, but not dry out, then it will turn out to be tender, melting in the mouth.
Orange zest does not dominate in this recipe; it gives the cookies a beautiful orange speck and a light, non-intrusive aftertaste.

Oh, who came to us! 🔗
Try it, Yelenka, very tender cookies are obtained.
The main thing there is not to overdo it in the oven, so as not to dry it out.
If you make 1 cm high with a diameter of a chocolate medal, then 210 * C and 15-18 minutes is the most it.
If less, then reduce the time accordingly. And the temperature is a little higher.
