Ingredients

Duck legs (2pcs) 500 g
dried apricots small 150 gr.
For the marinade
soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
honey 2 tbsp. l.
olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
water (boiling water) 2 tbsp. l.
dry red wine 6 tbsp. l.
ground ginger 1 tsp with a slide
ground pepper and salt by a pinch

Cooking method

  • If you need to surprise guests or delight a family that is already so spoiled that making up daily culinary masterpieces is your watch, then this dish is for you!
  • So, let's kick everyone out of the kitchen under the pretext of meditation, let's get started!
  • Rinse duck legs (I have two, on average, 250 grams each), cut off excess fat (if there is plenty of it) and store it in the refrigerator "until tomorrow."
  • Let's prepare the marinade:
  • Tibetan duck
  • mix soy sauce, olive oil, wine, honey. Pour boiling water over, stir until smooth. Add ginger, salt, pepper, mix.
  • I made the marinade right away in a wide, low container so that the legs would fit in it.
  • Dry the legs and put in the marinade.
  • Tibetan duck
  • Refrigerate for at least 12 hours. I marinated for almost a day.
  • Do not lubricate the baking dish with anything, put the duck fat cut by us earlier, finely chopped on the bottom. Lay the legs on top. Close the mold on top with foil, pressing the edges tightly, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees without convection for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Seedless dried apricots, preferably small, rinse, dry. After a while, remove the foil from the mold, add dried apricots (put a few things directly on the legs, the rest - in the free space of the mold).
  • Tibetan duck
  • Increase the oven temperature to 220 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes (after 10 minutes, turn the legs upside down).
  • I served with rice cooked in water without adding spices. Dried apricots are a separate delicacy, you can eat your brain!

Kara, Irina! I cooked a duck today according to this recipe! All according to the recipe, only 1.5 servings of marinade, because I have a whole duck. Marinated for a day. Well, I poured half of the marinade onto the duck .... I covered it with foil and put it in the oven at 180 °. I didn't add dried apricots, my peasants don't like it. Just time for 30 min. increased. Served with pasta. The meat is tender, juicy. My husband said it was delicious! This is the only way to cook duck!
